I bought this mp3 player and enjoyed it for 1 year + 1 month. All of a sudden, the screen would not show, it was completely black. It was fully charged and I tried to do a factory reset, this did not work at all. The seller offered me a 20% discount on another player (the price is $15 more than what I paid for it so I would be paying the same amount which is not acceptable). I declined as this last one only lasted 1 year and a month - yes, out of warranty, but still unacceptable. This was not a $20 player. Who is to say that the next one would last only one year and one day? I will purchase another mp3 player from a different seller/manufacturer, but not in the same price range. I hope someone can benefit from this review.

I did a lot of research before buying this mp3 player. I was looking for a player that was compatible with apple music, had a good shuffle option, supported playlists, decent battery life and good Bluetooth compatibility. This particular mp3 player has delivered. For this price point, it is a great deal. I had no issues at all getting my apple music onto the device and the files play seemlessly like any other format. Other players I had to do work arounds or change file type to get apple music files to work. Not an issue with this device. If like me you have had iPods for years but now have to switch as apple stopped producing them, the ability to easily access and play your iTunes library is probably one of your number 1 concerns. Let me save you hours of frustrating research and let you know this player is setup ready to play apple music files. The shuffle options are comparable to iPods. You can transfer your playlists relatively easily and there isn't a limit on how many you can have. You can also create new playlists directly from the device if you like. The battery life is probably my only issue with this player. It is decent, depending on how often you are using the screen interface, it will last for a full day of use but you likely need to charge daily. In comparison my iPod, before its battery started to go, held a charge for about a week or so before needing another charge. However this player will get you through a long day, particularly if you are just letting it do its thing and play tracks without manually changing it a lot. Seems using the screen interface drains the battery significantly faster. Finally the Bluetooth. Some of the reviews mention that the Bluetooth connection is subpar and causes the audio to cut in and out at times. I have ran into this a couple of times, however it only seems to happen when I am switching between multiple Bluetooth devices a lot. Like from the car to headphones, ect. And restarting the device has fixed the issue Everytime. I have had this player since July and I think this has only happened 3 times and easily fixed itself with a restart. As far as connecting to Bluetooth, I actually find that this device connects easier than my phone and other devices. It will stay connected to whatever device you last connected too and will need to be manually switched to another device but this is quick and easy to do. The only other note for me is podcast files are treated like any other music files so you do have to search for podcasts instead of having a separate podcast section. Though this might be a product of the media player I use as it does seem to have a podcast option separate from the music library so if you really want those separated there is likely a way to do it. I am just too lazy to figure it out lol Over all I think this mp3 player is an excellent choice for the price range, especially for iPod refugees. Hope this review helps anyone else looking to switch over now that iPods are leaving the market!

Good product. Prefect for use during activities you'd rather not risk damaging your phone. (Skating for me) I have fallen several times in a way where this has flown out of my pocket and slid across concrete and shows minimal scratches with no screen damage (although I did add a screen protector). Bring smaller and lighter than my phone I also notice this in my pocket much less during activity. Being minimalistic in regards to apps, this is perfect for a distraction deprived/free situation whether it be quality time, studying, or work. You can leave your phone elsewhere while using this to dive into whatever you are doing knowing notifications won't be popping up to draw your attention. The screen is a decent size for interaction when necessary so you won't be mispressing anything. I connect to this via Bluetooth headphones/earbuds , so the sound quality is not lacking (depending on the quality of your receiving device) Overall, a valuable device for the price.

Given the price, I really thought it'd be something good. But it does not even have a music player. Just an installed app for you to try. It cannot sort by name, or sort by title in the correct order. Wish I used this earlier so I could return this. The earbuds are awful, wish they didn't include them, it'd be better. Given how expensive this was, I should've bought a 10$ mp3 player and it'd be much better. The battery burns through very quick, does not feel like it's new. The sound quality is average; will need to test it out with my own headphones instead of the earbuds that came with that majorly hurt my ears. Who ever designed those buds never listened to music before. Do not recommend. Edit: The seller offered me refund without needing the item back, I refused. But I will give them 2 more stars (now at 3 stars) for good customer service. Recently Amazon customer services have been bad, but at least they work with the sellers to ensure better services and customer experience. However, this is not a cheap item; offering a full refund just that, without needing to return the items, how much less profit or loss can these small business take? Amazon has offered me, I suppose with the sellers, $100s of dollars of refund already, some of them were 3 stars to begin with. What are they doing? That is a lot of money back without getting the product back... Wouldn't that hurt the small businesses? What's the purpose of offering these refunds? I can't just change honest reviews just because they offered refund, the product was still bad. Like one product has damage/a somewhat deep scratch, it was heavily bubble wrapped, so it was not caused during delivery, and it was just the product was bad. Just because they suddenly offered me a refund, it does not mean that I can just give a 5 star review for these products. I believe I rated this one at 3 stars because it was still usable, and I believe that was more than reasonable. I refused their refund on this item because I was still able to use it, it was cheap; there was little point for me to take advantage of a small business like that. These are the reviews for the products; the customers look at the reviews, most likely without being able to read all the details from every review, and determines if the product is good or bad, or what the chances are they would receive a bad/faulty product. Another product could not charge properly (tested 5 times, it always produced that little issue, but it still was usable), plus its warranty could not let me register, plus there was another mechanical issue which made it a bit difficult to use (had to use it in a certain way; it was a while back, can't remember all the details now), I think, and it was rated 3 stars, and I think that was a fair rating. I am more than forgiving, often if a product has a tiny little issue and it works fine, I would give a 5 star. And just because they suddenly offered me a refund does not mean the charging and other mechanical issues would just magically disappear. I would not accept the refund, but I still needed to give an honest review based on what the product actually is and my experience with it. I could not change the 3 star review. Raising it to a 5 star just because they offered (or and I accepted) their refund would be confusing and defeats the purpose of the reviews. These are Product Reviews. This mp3 player was really a bad experience. Tried 20 minutes to sort the music in the way I need them and could not do it. And tried to delete all the music and then download them again with their titles sorted, still no go. Their default music player can only play one song at a time, so they Do Not have a default music list player. The other one is that can play the list is for trial only, and it does not play the list in the correct order which all my other mp3 players can do. Their earbuds sound quality is bad and ended up hurting my ears bad. These are small issues, if the prices was not so expensive, I'd give it a 3 star. But giving it high price (my other LCD screen mp3 players range from $20-30, and work much better), I had much higher expectation, and hence why the beginning 1 star rating. So, 3 stars is the best I can do.

Updated Review In the past year I have purchased three of these G3 MP3 devices. I love them. But what a surprise when I got my third one last week. The interface has been improved with the standard activity software buttons. I also found that the additional 128 gigs of external memory can be merged with the onboard 32 gigs to form one large dedicated integrated memory. As a setup choice the device treats the external memory as if it already came with the device as one indivisible hard drive, so any apps and downloads will flow into the 160 Gigs without being designated. Also, the Moon Reader app is now my go to e-reader. I can hold it in one hand even lying in bed and it scrolls automatically without touching the screen to turn pages. I have thousands of Spotify songs and 973 e-books available to me in my shirt pocket. 5 Stars Original Review from last year I bought the G3 to have a small, handy MP3 player instead of using my 6.5 inch Samsung Galaxy phone for Spotify use. This device has a lot to like, but with some limitations. First noticed that it uses Android 8.1, whereas it is announced as 9. Not a biggie but not fully trustworthy. Multiple music apps are pre-installed making it easy to use right out of the box. As I mentioned, I use Spotify and have 45 gigabytes of downloaded songs and playlist, so I do not need WiFi while I am out and about, The device is solidly built with some heft, pleasant to the touch and candy for the eyes. I have uninstalled several apps that I would never use. On board apps that I do use include, Kindle, Amazon Music, Spotify, Clock, File Manager, Voice Recorder, Libby (for public library downloads), FM Radio, and Chrome (works like a regular web browser but unable to access Play Store). On my regular phone and other devices I use Librera Pro to read my large book collection but that app is unavailable on the G3. This device has Moon Reader Pro installed, a wonderful, wonderful reading app. At 4.5 inches the screen is not to big and not too small. When I unlock the screen with my pin the numbers are easy to touch. Of course it has Bluetooth. It also has a 3.5 audio plug for wired output (some devices no longer have an audio plug). The speakers are functional but tinny. However, with headphones or ear buds, or dedicated console the stereo sound is FANTASTIC. Every musical instrument can be heard clearly with separation from each other. Total memory is 160 gigabytes and expandable. I have been listening to my playlist for several hours a day as I do something else. The G3 is a real game changer, especially at this price.

Update: Keeping the 1 star rating. Seller was nice enough to reach out and, since my original product was still under manufacturers warranty, they sent a replacement. However, right out of the box, the new one has same, but worse, bluetooth connectivity issues. The thing is incredibly slow and apps are constantly 'not responding' and then the apps decided they do not want to open at all. So, now I have 2 nonfunctioning innoasis mp3 players instead of one functioning product. This is a very sad day. I would gladly send both players back to get my money back if that was possible. I am even more sad than before. Bought last September and the bluetooth no longer works and it will not read the whole sd card. It just started randomly not showing all of my songs and will not scan/read the whole sd card. It has never been mistreated. It has never been dropped. It has always been in a protective case regardless. This mp3 had been pretty good until a month ago when the problem started. Unfortunately, I have not received any contact from anyone about the issue. I am very sad about this.

We bought 2 of these a few years ago. It was time to replace them so we bought a new one, assuming it would be just as great. It is not. I cannot stand this thing. When it plays music, it’s great. Other than that, it is not a win. The keypad is so small, I constantly have to retype letters until it’s the correct letter. Then we come to sign in and connectivity issues. This thing drives me up the walls! It doesn’t matter what platform we use for music, it’s the same story. Sign In doesn’t work properly (and no it’s not a log in error). It takes me back to the device settings page or tells me I need to turn off Airplane Mode or Connect to Internet. We have music downloaded so my daughter can listen in the car on long road trips, in flight, etc but I can’t get to the library. Sometimes we can connect to an airline’s entertainment - other times we cannot (same airline). The inconsistency is a headache. One other note: there aren’t cases to protect the device so it will likely break if it drops. I find this a consistent problem with many devices like these. They’re not the most kid friendly.
