Meets DOT safety standards, ILM-606V Motorcycle Helmet for men and women is a combination of safety and functionality, ideal for dirt bike, motorcycle, mountain bike, dual sports, electric dirt bike and other outdoor riding activities. ILM-606V multifunctional motorcycle electric helmet features a detachable sun visor and face shield which can be used as a full face helmet, dual sport helmet, or off-road bicycle helmet. Note: Helmet size runs smaller than regular, Please choose one size up when placing the order. How to remove the sun visor: Remove the screws of the dual sport helmet, the sun visor can be taken off, then attach the 3 black clips (coming with the package) before tightening the screws to the helmet. How to remove the clear visor: Unscrew the screw on the helmet then take off the outer face shield, reinstall the screws and sun visor to the helmet, then you will get a dirt bike electric scooter helmet. The breath box is removable and could help reduce fogging to some extent. Removable and washable liner keeps you cool and comfortable on every ride.

I am a Harley rider and I’ve always loved the style of the Dual sport helmets. So I finally pulled the trigger and got the ILM. I was a bit hesitant because, well it looks like a motocross helmet and the sun “bill” or visor sticking out from the top (potential wrenching of the neck from the visor catching the wind) I ride with a windscreen on my bike and many riders with windscreens or fairings suffer from helmet “buffering” or helmet shake. It’s from a negative air pressure behind the windscreen/fairing. Even small half helmets get the shake. 1st. This helmet is light! That doesn’t mean no protection! There is TONS of protection. My head felt snug and secure. Glasses were a little messy to put on but once on, no pinching or glasses movement. 2nd. The clear and shaded pull down visors are great. No imperfections to alter vision. The shaded visor does have a small amount of distortion on the very bottom but nothing I wouldn’t expect. The vision area is wide all the way around. 3rd. Helmet shake/buffering is ZERO! I mean none, nada, zilch. There was no feeling of my head being wrenched back from the “bill” being caught in the wind and I even took the windscreen off for a second test run. Nada! The only drawback and this is so minor but I do mention it because it is a full-face. Wind noise is equal to wearing a half helmet or having your ears in the wind. Now, some riders do wear a full face to cut the wind noise, if you are looking for that in a helmet, I would look elsewhere. I did have the vents open on top of the helmet so closing them might change the noise. Overall. Worth every penny!!!! ... show more

This helmet is amazingly comfortable, I'm actually shocked at how good this helmet is in every way! It's great looking, matches my KLX 300 (Lime Green) very well. Good ventilation, quick chin strap connection, full visor with inner sun shield. I do think it runs slightly small, but I mean slightly. I wear a medium, bought the medium, fits nice and snug. The interior is literally velvet soft & extremely comfortable. Got mine for just over a 100 bucks, great price point for this helmet. Highly recommend. ... show more

Nice headpiece. Sharp looking and like the dual function and is super comfortable. True to size and fits snug. Fogs a little bit, but that is solved by leaving the visor open a quarter of an inch. Would be nice if it came with a non_fogging visor.

It very easy to change the helmet from having the clear face shield on or off and also taking the brim on or off with a flat head screwdriver or even a dime or penny will work. There is a switch on the left side of the helmet to put the tinted visor behind the clear shield up or down and 2 vents on top of the helmet that you can open or close and 1 one vent at the mouth of the helmet that you can open or close and 2 more vents above the clear shield that are open all of the time. All of pads inside are removable so it can be washed by hand or put in the washer. It comes with three extra pieces so when you take the brim off you put them on this way the clear visor can stay on and go up or down! This thing is definitely worth the price and I'm glad I paid the $25 extra and went with this one over the other one I was looking at on Amazon. This helmet definitely exceeded my expectations. I will be using it on my Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus 2024 e-scooter which goes up to 44mph and when I ride my Segway Ninebot Max G2 which goes 22mph I wear a Ninebot bicycle or skateboard type helmet without face protection! ... show more

I purchased the ILM Dual Sport Helmet for use with my new Ducati Hypermotard. It is the right style helmet for this bike and looks great. It is comfortable and breaths well and the easy adjustability of the chin strap is a plus. The full-face visor lets you skip the goggles and tucks nicely out of the field of view when up. Peripheral vision is more than adequate with the visor up or down. The drop-down sun visor is not something I use but good to know it is there if I forget my sunglasses.     • Very Impressive Helmet

I bought several different Helmets. It came down to 3. The Scorpion EXO-AT950. Loved this helmet but it was $289. The O'Neal Sierra II. Nice Helmet at $140. And the ILM $70. I really wanted the Scorpion because it was MODULAR but at the end, it was $220 more then the ILM. As far as the O'Neil, the internal visor hits the top of your noise and also does not move smoothly. I also sent email to ILM support to see if they had parts and they replied within 24 hours saying they did, so they were very responsive. I also like the quick connect strap on the ILM versus traditional D-Rings on the other two. So once I ruled out the expensive option, it was a pretty easy choice between the O'Neal and the ILM with the ILM about 1/2 the price of the O'Neal. So very happy with the ILM and highly recommend it. FYI I ordered one size over my measurement and fits great. I will still get the Scorpion one day when I have a little extra cash..... ... show more
