This is a nice little dehumidifier. It is both compact and powerful. Perfect for an RV with limited space, or even a bathroom. Being a compressor dehumidifier, it's FAR more efficient than the thermoelectric models.

This dehumidifier has been a solid addition to my basement. It’s powerful enough to handle the entire downstairs area, pulling out a noticeable amount of moisture each day. The digital display makes it easy to monitor humidity levels, and the auto mode adjusts on its own without me needing to constantly check in. I like that it comes with a drain hose, which saves me from having to empty the tank manually. The 24-hour timer and child lock are nice quality-of-life features, especially if you have kids running around. It also has an auto-defrost mode, which came in handy when the temp dropped a bit last week. Despite its size, it’s pretty quiet and compact. Setup was plug-and-go, and the controls are easy to figure out. Great value for the features.

The media could not be loaded. The Asahwo dehumidifier works well in a small space, I used it in the bathroom and it dropped the humidity quickly. I measured the humidity before starting the dehumidifier, it was 53% at 7:30AM, by 8:45AM, the humidity had dropped to 44%. I found that it did not bring the humidity down much lower, I like to keep the humidity between 35-45%, but if I need to dry something (clothing or electronics that got wet), I put them in a small room or closet and run a dehumidifier. When I use a dehumidifier in this way, I want it to get closer to 30% humidity. I could not get this mini dehumidifier to reduce humidity to 30%, but it still did a good job. It brought humidity down into the ideal range but you just need to empty the tank rather frequently in order to keep it running 24/7. The wheels roll very smoothly. When the dehumidifier is on and running--it's quiet. There are plenty of features, but the controls are a little confusing. The difference between the settings for "dry", 'dehu" and "cont' is unclear. A look at the instruction manual is needed in order to decode what the settings mean, and how to use them properly. The water collection tank is rather small, it would be more useful if it were larger. It stops dehumidifying automatically when the tank is full, but it stops collecting water a little too late, I typically find a couple tablespoons of water on the floor when the collection tank is full. One of the issues I have with the dehumidifier, is it spills water, when I go to empty the tank, water always spills when removing the water tank, and then when I wipe the floor and move the dehumidifier looking for more water that may have spilled, I always find more. I move it again, and I find more water. I think the water is inside the machine and moving it helps the water find its way out. When I pour the water out of the collection tank, it often rushes out and spreads out spilling water all over the counter. I've done this nearly every time I empty the tank. I always think, this won't happen next time. But I just did it again. I have water everywhere on the counter and floor. I still don't know if I'm to blame, or if it's a flaw in the design. But I have not had this problem when emptying other dehumidifier water tanks. If you move the dehumidifier when it's full, be careful. When I wheeled it across the floor, I ended up with a 10ft trail of water. The water tank definitely fills too high before shutting off the water collection. If it was not filled to the absolute max, then all of these leaking and spilling problems would not be happening. It seems like this is something that could be easily fixed. There are lots of options for buying a mini to small dehumidifier. The problem with this class of dehumidifier is that the vast majority just don't work. I've bought 5 of them, they had beautiful designs and looked good in a room, but they were all completely useless, I would run them for 2 days and end up with an ounce of water in the tank (if I was lucky). That is what you can expect from most small dehumidifiers. This is one of the better small dehumidifiers on the market. It takes up very little space, and works well at dehumidifying rather quickly. It is perfect for small rooms, bathrooms, and closets. I've been using it in my bathroom and it has been keeping the humidity within the ideal range.
