I absolutely love this dish set. The ceramic is a thinner, lighter style, but still very sturdy. The plates are flatter, which makes them super easy to load into the dishwasher as well. The bowls are standard sized for soups, cereals, or salads, etc. The cups are tall, which is excellent if you like large lattes with fixings, or want to make sure you're getting enough water. They're give or take about half a water bottle's worth. The entire set was packaged very well, not a single broken piece or any chips. The color is a really pretty and bright robins egg blue, and the outside pattern is a slightly textured cross hatch that feels nice to the touch as well. We love the quality of these dishes. The color is delicate but holds up well. The design is simple but feels nice in the hand. The size of the bowl is just perfect, and plates seem ideal. It may sound too good to be true, and I am normally very skeptical, but we are looking at buying more to expand our set and to give as gifts. Very much worth it. Also packed exceptionally well and I would not worry about any chips or breaks in shipping (firmly packed in firm/thick foam, not the flimsy stuff, with padding between each piece and custom cut to fit the dishes perfectly so there is *no* shifting in shipping). My wife and I have been on a quest to rid plastics from the kitchen and this is the first full set of dishware we've picked up since our wedding a decade ago. It is also very much the nicest daily-use china we've ever had. The coloring is quite lovely. It's a little more muted than it appears in the promotional images, but I very much prefer it that way. It has a softer and more elegant look. The glossy finish is also well-done. Durability is advertised as higher than typical ceramics given the bone-china classification and I believe it. It washed in the dishwasher just fine and it has so far held up to normal use. Came well-protected from the manufacturer as well. Functionally, we love this set just as much as we love how it looks. Everything feels nice, heat transfer is good (not scalding hot coming out of the microwave), and the sizing is generous. Beautiful and functional set. Highly recommended. ... show more
