I received this 16-piece dinnerware set and have been using it for a few family meals now. The bone china is surprisingly lightweight yet feels solid in the hand — not fragile-feeling. The green embossed mesh pattern gives the set a subtle texture that elevates the table without being overly flashy. It handled dinner and dessert cleanly: the bowls, plates, and cups were comfortable to use and looked cohesive together. I absolutely am over the moon happy with these green embossed mesh bone china dinnerware set of dishes. My pictures don't show the color but it's a pale green just really pretty color that's hard to get a good picture of. I was trying really hard to show the size of these dishes, which is one of the things that I'm super happy about. Finally, cups that are large enough to actually have a full cup of coffee and not just a tiny little cup. Bowls big enough so that your man can actually eat a bowl of soup or cereal and not have to have 5 refills. I feel like they actually give you cups and bowls that are human sized. Ones that you can give to your husband and he won't look at you sideways. They're good size bowls and they're good size cups. The plates are dinner size plates plus they have you know, the little bit of smaller salad plates too and both of them are on the larger side of things. Plus, they're beautiful. So everybody in the house is happy. I get my gorgeous light green embossed bone china and they're big enough to actually put a good amount of food in their bowls and cups that they'll fill their tummies up and not need for me to give them multiple refills. It's a win-win! I truly tried to take pictures to show the sizes, but I don't know if it worked out too well or not. Hopefully, you'll see what I was trying to show you guys. This is a very nice dinnerware set. The finish is flawless and the embossed detailing is beautiful. Packaging was top notch with everything separated by layers of protective foam, even between individual pieces. I like that the color is a lighter, more subtle green than pictured on the store page. The first issue I noticed was that one of them was very dirty and covered with thick dust (see picture). Then, after washing and drying all of the pieces, I noticed that all eight of the plates are slightly different in size and slightly out of round. This makes it so they don't stack together well, but if stored individually as recommended for bone china, would never be noticed. I did some research on bone china and learned that it is a type of ceramic that has bone ash mixed with clay and other materials. I learned that while the addition of the bone ash makes it able to be thin yet durable, it requires special care. It's recommended that it not be stacked, washed in the dishwasher, or otherwise exposed to high heat, or it can be damaged. Stacking bone china can cause chips and cracks. Unfortunately I don't have a choice but to stack them, as I don't have the space for a dedicated china cabinet. I recommend reading up on bone china and how to care for it to make sure it is the right choice for your usage scenario. I think it's a very nice set for special occasions, but not sure it's the best candidate for daily use, especially with children in the house. ... show more

They're nice dishes. I got the green and the white. The green is so subtle you can't really tell it's green unless it's next to the white. Not a problem, but if you wanted GREEN, it isn't. Only 3 stars because some of the plates wobble a bit, like there's something on the bottom rim. Not a huge wobble, but enough to be annoying. That said, yeah, I'd recommend. ... show more

This is one of those items you get and go... oh, I've been using the cheap stuff all this time. This is so nice that I almost don't want to use it, then I remember the price wasn't so bad that I couldn't replace them so I get over it pretty quick. I wasn't sure I'd like the color, pastels aren't normally my thing, but I got the green and it's gorgeous. It feels so thin and fragile and premium, but they're incredibly sturdy. I'm kind of shocked that they're safe to put in the dishwasher, much less the microwave and oven. If you want nice china that looks like the stuff you only break our for company but that you won't feel like you can't use any other time, give this set a shot. ... show more
