Arrived on time in good condition. Assembled and used it. Feels sturdy and steady. Will keep it, I needed something taller that I can put in my trunk. Now, the reasons for only four, possibly three, stars. No assembly instructions, none, not even a simple good picture to show where things go and in what directions. Once you determine that it assembles easily. The hooks are nice but they don't tell you that you must remove the black caps at the top of the poles. As noted in other reviews, the rungs are spaced further apart than most ladders. I am tall so it's actually easy, however for someone with shorter legs it would be more of a challenge. Please do follow the instructions about closing the ladder, and do use gloves when sliding on the orange and black feet. The aluminum base bar is sharp until you get the black feet on. Also, completely remove the screw in the wheel assemblies but be cautious of the small recessed nut on the back side. Put a piece of tape across it and then it will be easy to reassemble. The no pinch fingers for this ladder is a great addition. Ultimately that’s what made me choose this product. The ladder is heavier than I thought. Must have looked at the 12 foot weight. I just got this ladder but already I love it. Easy to carry, works smoothly and safely to raise & lower the rungs and easy to get into a small area for attic access. I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago, since I have for decades struggled with hauling cumbersome extension ladders through the house, trying to avoid banging into corners and items enroute to gain attic access. I think the price is more than reasonable for this quality product and the ease of using it. I especially like the way the manufacturers have installed raised stops under the rungs so there is a gap between them when closed. That prevents getting my fingers smashed when lowering the rungs, if I accidentally get them in the way of lowering the rungs. Other telescoping ladders haven't designed theirs with that feature.
