Description

Package Contents: With thermostatic control, the immersion water heater automatically cycles on and off to maintain the water temperature at approximately 167°F. To prevent electrical hazards, do not plug two immersion water heaters into the same outlet. Experience the versatility of our 1500W immersion water heater: perfect for heating small inflatable pools, bathtubs, and buckets during summer, and essential for bathing, camping, and travel in winter. Note: Not designed for large swimming pools About Our Immersion Electric Heater: Tips: Q: How long does it take to heat water with this 1500W immersion heater? A: It heats up to 5 gallons of water in 5-8 minutes at room temperature (70°F). In winter or cold water, it may take 8-12 minutes—pre-warm the container for faster results. Our thermostat cycles automatically to maintain even heat without boiling over. Q: Is this heater safe to use in a bathtub or for camping? A: Yes, it's UL-certified with a 304 stainless steel guard to prevent burns and direct contact. Always fully immerse the heater in water before plugging in, and it auto-shuts off at 167°F to avoid overheating. Remove before touching water—never use dry. Ideal for safe bathtub soaks or camping setups. Q: How accurate is the digital LCD thermometer? A: The Fahrenheit LCD thermometer provides real-time readings with ±2°F accuracy. Calibrate by testing in known warm water (e.g., 100°F). It pairs with the thermostat for precise control—users report 90% satisfaction for comfortable 100-120°F baths. Q: Will the heater rust or break after a few uses? A: Made with rust-resistant 304 stainless steel, it's built for 500+ uses. Clean with the included steel wool ball after each session and dry thoroughly. If any damage occurs within 1 year, our covers free replacement—no questions asked. Q: What if the product arrives damaged or doesn't work? A: We ship via Prime for fast, tracked delivery. If damaged, return within 30 days for full refund (no restocking fee). For defects, message us immediately—90% resolved in 24 hours with replacement. Check packaging upon arrival to avoid issues. Q: Can I use this for large pools or continuous heating? A: No, it's optimized for small containers (up to 5 gallons) like bathtubs or buckets—not large pools. Limit to 3 hours continuous use to prevent wear. For bigger needs, consider multiple units (but never plug into the same outlet to avoid fire risk).

  • perfect for my needs
Color: Yellow
It's been 13 years since my 34-year-old water heater died. I've never been able to bring myself to replace it with another whole-house heater, as keeping 40 gallons of water continually hot for just me seems like a waste of energy. Eventually, I put an electric water heater with a small tank in a bathroom, which I only heat up when I want a shower. Still, there are times when I'd like some hot water for dishes without heating it on the stovetop, and though I wash clothes with cold water, once in a while I want hot water to wash some greasy items, and this 1500W immersion water heater is exactly the solution! Amazon seller Laoaivena also sells 2000W immersion heaters which would work better for larger quantities of water, but this 1500W works well for quickly heating up to 5 gallons, which is perfect for my needs. The 1500W Immersion Water Heater draws approximately 13.64 amps at 110V (1500W/110V = 13.64 amps) or 12.5 amps at 120V, which is the standard US household outlet voltage and under the standard 15-amp circuit breaker limit. This is a significant current draw, which is why the product manual recommends using a dedicated outlet and never plugging two heaters into the same outlet to avoid overloading the circuit. The heater comes with a separate waterproof temperature probe with a liquid crystal display (LCD) that is a handy little thermometer to tell you the water temperature, and I've found it can work nicely for reading ambient air temperature, too. The thermometer's display was designed to snap into a panel with a 1" x 1.76" cutout, so I took a piece from one of those flexible plastic kitchen cutting mats you can buy on Amazon, made the cutout, put some folds in it, and ended up with a way either to have the thermometer standing upright on a countertop or hanging on the side of a bucket, keeping it secure and easy to read. The thermometer is absolutely necessary with this heater, since we are warned to AVOID TOUCHING THE WATER WHILE THE HEATER IS OPERATING. I don't know what would happen if we touch it, but I'm not going to find out. Still, I couldn't resist doing a test to see if it could cause any soft tissue damage... Using a non-conductive plastic fork, I stabbed a hot dog and submerged it into water which the heater was just beginning to warm. The heater's cord is only 4 feet long, so I needed to use a short extension cord to reach my outlet. I could have used one with 14 gauge wires, but I selected one with 12 gauge to insure against any voltage drop. I'm not sure if the hot dog felt any pain, but I saw no change whatsoever in its appearance, so no soft tissue damage. Actually, I don't know if the heater would do anything to a person's inserted hand if it was functioning properly, but I have read about electrocutions when a heater's internal insulation breaks down, exposing live electrical wiring directly to the water, or when the heating element cracks or corrodes. Personally, I don't think I'd use an immersion heater if I had children around, just to be safe. The product's ad says it's "UL-certified", but I can find no indication of that on the product, its packaging, nor in the accompanying pamphlet, and I would sure feel better if I did. I'd like it to be UL Certified, even better if it was UL Listed, but since it comes from China, I guess we get what we get. Oh yes, one more thing...don't plug in the heater unless it is submerged in water! The heater must be fully underwater so the water can absorb the extreme heat it's generating; if it's out of the water it will overheat, self-destruct and could potentially cause a fire. I'm just sayin'. ... show more

  • A Practical Solution When You Need Hot Water Quickly
Color: Yellow
One of my two tankless water heaters recently stopped working, and I wasn’t ready to spend $1,500 on a replacement. I decided to try this 1500W immersion water heater as a temporary solution, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how useful it's been. So far, I’ve mainly used it to heat water for washing dishes and for other cleaning tasks. It heats water surprisingly fast, making it much easier to soak and clean when hot water isn’t readily available. Setup is simple—just place the heater in the water, plug it in, and monitor it while it’s operating. As with any heating device, it’s important to follow the safety instructions and never leave it unattended. The temperature increases steadily, and the LCD digital thermometer makes it easy to keep track of the heat level. The stainless steel heating coil feels durable, and the handle stays cool during use, which is an important safety feature. Overall, this is a practical and affordable solution for situations where you need warm water quickly. Recommended! ... show more

  • Great for Warming Water Quickly and Monitoring Temperature
Color: Yellow
This immersion water heater has worked great for our outdoor pool shower setup! We keep a separate water container available for guests to rinse off after swimming, and this heater makes it easy to warm the water to a much more comfortable temperature. I especially like that it includes a digital temperature display, which takes the guesswork out of knowing when the water is ready to use. It heats efficiently and allows us to provide warm rinse water without needing any permanent plumbing or expensive equipment. The unit was straightforward to use, and it has become a handy addition to our pool area. Whether you’re using it for a camping setup, outdoor shower, utility tub, or other water-heating needs, it does exactly what it’s designed to do. Just be sure to follow the safety instructions and use it as directed, since it is a powerful heating element. ... show more

  • great for kids pool
Color: Yellow
I got this to help warm up our kiddie pool a bit because the hose water is always freezing at first. It does help take the edge off, especially if you give it some time before the kids get in. The digital thermometer is useful because I could actually see where the water temp was instead of guessing. It feels pretty powerful for its size, and the stainless guard makes it feel a little safer than having the heating element totally exposed. That said, this is definitely something I only use with close supervision and never while anyone is in the water. I also make sure it is fully submerged and unplugged before touching or moving anything. Overall, it’s useful if you’re trying to make a small pool, bucket, or tub of water more comfortable. It’s not instant magic for a full pool, but for a kiddie pool it made a noticeable difference. ... show more

  • Heats up fast, but you have to watch it
Color: Yellow
I dropped this into a five-gallon bucket in my shop to warm up some water, and it got hot really fast. The metal guard is nice because it stops the hot part from touching and melting the plastic bucket. The thermometer works fine and the screen is easy to read. My main gripe is that it does not actually shut all the way off on its own. It just clicks on and off to stay at 167 degrees, so it keeps running until you pull the plug. It won't shock you or anything, but it stays hot, so you really have to pay attention and remember to unplug it when you are done. ... show more
