UPDATE: 08.24.26 - So the 2nd unit is working out wonderful. Its coming off and on as it should and collecting lots of moisture out of the RV. So far I'm very impressed how well this is doing for being a smaller machine. I obviously received a damaged, non working unit (not the sellers fault) the 1st time around and the 2nd unit is doing a wonderful job. I just might take my chances again and order me another one as my intentions was having 2 of these. Compared to others of its size, having a compressor, quietness and function ability - this one was priced reasonable. I ordered 2 of these brand new. The 1st one came a day ago so I unboxed it and let it sit upright for 24 hours. I read the instructions - seemed simple enough - plugged it in and it showed the humidity level then went straight to a "CODE EF" - After turning it off & on & unplugging it - still no fan or compressor movement. So with doing the side bar questions with Alexa, this was her response:: The EF error code combined with no compressor or fan movement indicates a serious hardware failure—likely a faulty compressor, motor, or internal electrical component. This is not something you can fix with troubleshooting. So with that said, I'm boxing it back up and already printed out my return label !! I just received the 2nd one today so it will be interesting to see if it will work - 1st I have to let it sit for 24 hours. So far I'm not having very good luck !! I bought these for use in my RV 5th wheeler 37ft. Another thing I'll mention is the lid to the water reserve - its hard to get the lid off as there is nothing to grab onto to get it off - kind of a wonky setup for over $100. Disappointed so far. Also, the unit was damaged when I got it as you can see the shipping carrier dropped the box and damaged it - probably the reason why its throwing a code and doesn't work !!! ... show more

Made to last for years!
Definitely worth the purchase if you need to pull moisture out of a room. I purchased this 4 years ago and it is on all the time. I only turn it off to empty the tank and clean it. After 4 years of working hard, it still works like it is brand new. It is not complicated to use at all. You put the tank in, plug it on and turn it on. There are two fan settings and you can easily hear the difference. When the tank is full, you get a bright red flashing indicator to empty it and the motor shuts off. When you put the tank back in, the red light turns itself off. I do keep this in my living room which is larger than the space it suggests, but it still works very well and takes in a lot of moisture. The motot is VERY quiet which is a huge plus with any electronic device that runs a lot. It is quiet enough that every now and then I do need to get up close to check it is still running because it is quiet (you can either listen or feel the air flow on the sides). I have smaller units in bedrooms and they are much louder than this unit, which is surprising due to the size differences. I also like the LED lights for at night if I need to walk through the front room. They aren't overly bright to disturb you if it is on your room while you sleep, but it is enough you don't need added light if you need to walk in the dark. If you don't care for the lights, you can shut that off. If I had anything negative to say it would be the current cost (inflation is a bummer). I wanted to purchase another unit but I am conflicted of either paying nearly $80 for this unit, or getting two smaller ones for significantly less. ... show more

Aiusevo 1500 sq ft?

So this review might sound like an unfair comparison, but hear me out. After my dad annexed my 70 pint Whirlpool following a minor flood at his house, I soon realized I was probably never going see it again, and due to the non-stop rain, the dampness in my own house had progressed to a rather uncomfortable degree. Looking to save a few bucks I began to consider these smaller compressor based dehumidifiers, and settled on this one. To be clear, my house is a tiny 625 square foot bungalow, and I'm blocking off a 10x10 bedroom which leaves 525 sq ft to contend with. That should be a piece of cake for a 1500 sq ft dehumidifier, no? Obviously my old 70 pint Whirlpool was a beast compared to this 21 pint unit. In damp weather, I have personally witnessed my old Whirlpool pull over 2 gallons out of the air after 24 hours. This Aiusevo? Theoretically at 21 pints it could pull two and a half gallons a day, but that's laughably optimistic. Instead, it runs quietly and persistently, and while it took nearly 3 times longer than my Whirlpool might have, it eventually dried out my home to a comfortable level. Pros: Small and light weight. Very easy to move around Quiet. Very quiet. Can't hardly hear it from the other room. Energy efficient. My Kill-a-Watt shows that it pulls well under 100 watts. Affordably priced. Much less expensive than my last unit. Cons: Takes much longer to dry things out than the big boys. Fan is weak. Really needs to be able to more more air. Can't keep up when you're cooking in the kitchen. Indicator lights are very BRIGHT. You might need some masking tape while sleeping. 1500 sq ft? I wouldn't recommend it. Over all, I do recommend this unit if you have less than 1000 sq ft and a little patience. I'm glad I bought it. Why did I dock a star? I don't know if my unit is defective or not, but switching between high and low fan doesn't seem to make any real difference. It's a pretty weak blower and "high" . ... show more

Portable and Works Well in Subtropical Weather!

First, I live in subtropical weather where it’s humid between Spring-Summer-half of Fall. In the summer, humidity can be 75%. My ideal is 45%. I purchased this 1,500 Sq. Ft (21 Pints) Dehumidifier 15 months ago and I LOVE this thing! Even though it’s small, it has wheels you can add/remove to make it easier to move around the room. Portable and energy-efficient are ideal as I wanted something I can put on the floor or a table. So far, I have kept mine on the floor since it doesn’t take up space (it’s 16 inches tall with wheel; 15 inches without. Across it’s 9 inches wide. Depth is 6.875 inches). When it’s humid (60%-75%), I dump the water out twice a day—because it’s small, it’s much easier to maintain/manage. I prefer this over having to carry a big heavy bucket of water and spilling all over the place (the big ones are prohibitive—makes me lazy and unwilling to do the hard work, LOL). It does come with a tube if you want to hook it up to a drain. You can set and lock to your ideal humidity, or you can run continuously. These are the 2 settings I use, though there is also a timer (I did not test the timer). Fan speed is high and low. You should check and play with the settings because you can easily lock it. I was a little confused at first, as I couldn’t tell if it was locked to a certain humidity or if it was on continuous mode, but it’s my fault for not reading the manual. It doesn’t take a lot of time to figure out, but definitely play with it so you understand various settings. I lock mine at 45% as I don’t like it any drier than that. It will stop automatically if the water container is full so you don’t have to worry about leaks/overflow. There’s an indicator light that will tell you if it’s full (red) and needs to be emptied, or if humidity is high (green for dehumidifier on/running), or humidity is good (blue) and holding steady based on the locked setting. I added a short video of me dumping the water when container was 30% full. I highly recommend it if you’re in a subtropical climate and want something living room or bedroom-friendly (portable, manageable, and not an eye-sore). Space is 750 sq. ft and works just fine on its own. I track the humidity in every room using a hygrometer so am able to verify efficacy. I did contemplate spending money on a dehumidifier, but this was worth it. For one, it seemed cheaper compared to the other brands (I paid $140 at the time). The AC also doesn’t have to work as hard if you bring down the humidity, and this device is energy-efficient so it will save you money while bringing you comfort. I think this helped a lot with my allergies and can reduce sinus headaches from stuffiness. I mostly use it from Spring to Summer, and on rainy days in the Fall. ... show more

Happy until I wasn't!
Well, I really don't like writing poor reviews, but sometimes it's warranted. I purchased this dehumidifier Aug 29, 2024. It came with a 3-year warranty. It ran pretty quiet, drained how it was supposed to, and seemed to remove the water from my basement. Until it started leaking. Move forward until July 2026. Unfortunately, I didn't notice because, since I had it auto-draining, it was kind of "turn it on and forget about it". One day I went into my basement and I saw all this water in the corner. I thought it was maybe my wash machine until I looked up on the raised platform where the dehumidifier is kept. The platform itself was soaked and I noticed water was leaking out the edges of the unit. I contacted the service department for Aiusevo by email. I could not find a customer service number anywhere - even though the site references "Better yet, see us in person! We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours." My first email was responded to fairly quickly. They apologized, asked for some info, and told me to stop using it and to unplug the unit. I responded back with the info and haven't heard back. I have emailed now like 6 times with no responses. I don't know what else to do. I guess my next step is to contact the BBB and file a complaint. If I finally get a response, I'll try and undate my review. I have a video of the leaking water on my phone. I'll try and upload it at a later time since I'm on my laptop now. ... show more

1500 ft models is what people should aim for in small/mid size apartments as their base
If you're someone that is looking to get a dehumidifier for a small space. I would say that you should start with these kind of models and work your way upwards. The most important thing about dehumidifiers is not the advertised amount of space it can work with, but how much water can it actually pull out of the environment. When you get into units that are advertised to work for a much smaller space, the problem that you will run into is that the unit is simply not capable of adding any significant difference of moisture to your home, even if the space is miles below what the advertised amount of space they cover is. Another unit that I have has the capability to pull around 24oz of water out of the air in a 24 hour timezone, which this unit can pull 422 oz. This unit is 40 dollars more than that other unit. Furthermore, for 10 dollars more, you can get a unit that pulls 30 pints out of the air with a 2000 ft model, with some caviats that you should consider. At least from using this unit for the past couple of weeks, I like the fact that this unit is really easy to manuver around and pick up. The wheels on the bottom make it easy to be able to pull around wherever you want it to go, and it's pretty light in comparison to some of the other units on the market. The dryer mode for clothes also works pretty well as long as the clothes are not soaking wet, it will dry out the clothes in the time that it gives out. You have to make sure though to place the clothes into a small space, or it'll take longer to dry as it's in a much wider space. It will make the room warmer when using the drying mode. I haven't noticed this in the other modes, but I'd assume this to be true for those modes as well since the unit is pulling moisture out of the air while also using a small amount of heat when it's in operation. The only draw back is the storage capacity of the internal unit if you don't use a draining hose. It holds around 3 Gallons, which sounds like a lot, but you'll be emptying this multiple times a day if you're using this in a space with a lot of moisture. Now the unit does not recommend using the draining hose into any containers, but the reason why is because if you keep the bucket on the same level as the unit, it won't drain into the bucket because the water needs to fall through gravity. I have a 5 gallon container that I have around for my rowing machine to fill it up every now and again, and what I've done is place the container on a level below where the humidifier is located. You want to make sure however you set up the washer that the hose is able to naturally let the water fall into your bucket, or it'll just default to using the internal bucket instead. Overall, I'd say for the price to performance this is a great unit. If you have good airflow in the room it will get your humidity down to 45%, but without any good airflow it'll be harder for it to drop to those levels, as I've only gotten down to a bit below 50% otherwise with a poorly ventilated apartment. This is also a fantastic unit to save a bit of money to help dry your clothes in an enclosed space. ... show more

Does not turn off when humidity level is reached or when tank is full

They absolutely work and are not loud at all. Compact and fit any any space. The cord is long, which allows me to roll it near my bathroom while I’m showering without having to unplug it. My only issues are: 1. None of mine are consistently turning off when the desired humidity level is reached, going by the read out on the screen. I set mine at 55, and they all still run when then screen says 52. Very frustrating. 2. THEY DO NOT TURN OFF WHEN THE WATER TANK IS FULL! The one in my bedroom was still running with water coming out of the side. That’s extremely frustrating when you add the fact that the water level is very hard to read. 3. I already knew this, but the tank is quite small. And, no, I do not have them set to continuous or dry mode. Overall, they do the job well, but I am really annoyed about not turning off when desired humidity is reached or when the tank is full. ... show more

Works great but needs condensate (water) emptied (dumped on outside plants) every 10-12 hours if you can't use the "self drain" option. Had to check the low / high fan speed using a anemometers (yes I have one) because there wasn't much difference (2.7low and 3.3high). Reached out to customer service and that was correct (fan speed) because it's a smaller "home" unit, works as designed. The noise level is acceptable on High or Low. Only improvement would be an led down light in the reservoir to see the level in the catch tank. Photo - sitting next to a standard 20 inch box fan - level hard to see in a darker conditions. Because it's basically a "mini" ac unit (the instructions state that it does contain Freon and must be treated as such when repairing or disposal). It does generate some heat (no exhaust). It works way better than the "electronic heat sink" type of dehumidifiers. ... show more
