The media could not be loaded. I was looking for an additional dehumidifier, and while my place is pretty bone-dry now in the winter, the holiday sales had me looking at deals. Not to mention, even with a dry house, my bathroom gets very steamy, and mold can grow if not addressed. So I got this Fehom unit because the size and modern minimalist design seemed perfect for the small space. This model looks really nice, with a simple design and minimalist aesthetic. It has a uniformly rectilinear shape with curved edges, and a totally flat top where the control panel is. The exhaust vents are not adjustable but seems to be designed to blow the air in a slightly outward and upward direction. There is a discreetly hidden carry handle to assist in moving the unit, but also side handles too, and is on small casters. The controls are pretty straightforward- power on/ off; mode; dehumidifier setting; timer; fan speed; lock. The unit runs quiet and so far seems to do a great job of dehumidifying the space (just used for steamy bathroom.. not used for clothes drying yet). The water collection bucket is easy to remove and empty. I noticed this is using a simple float-system for the “water full” alert. Curious to see how that works over time. The last dehumidifier I had used a small arm with a contact switch. Also, the air filter is easy to access and clean. The controller panel display is very simple modern design, and I am not sure if that is good or bad. My last machine had a bright LCD backlit display that had different info displayed at one time. This unit has a two digit LED that is behind the surface membrane. It displays mainly the current function and only changes when you are programing the buttons, then it reverts back to showing the humidity level. If I want to see how much time is left on the timer.. I am not sure how to do that. Not a dealbreaker at all, but just something to know. All the lights and display on this unit are behind the surface membrane and that helps keep a modern, clean look but it dulls the brightness of the lights, which I think is a good thing and cool looking, but just noting. I am very happy with it so far and would happily recommend to anyone with similar use-case. The media could not be loaded. This product is compact and easy to use, a reliable choice for larger spaces like basements and works effectively in maintaining the perfect moisture levels in my home. Has a great option to collect water in the in-built tank or drain out through a hose which is provided. It has a feature to turn off automatically once the in-built tank is full, which is nice to have. I should also appreciate the speed regulation feature of the blower, which allows me to adjust the fan speed according to the moisture levels in the room. Another handy feature is the 24-hour timer which allows me to automate the operation of the dehumidifier, saving energy and ensuring optimal performance. Fehom Dehumidifier comes with a protection option of overheat and undercool which is an add-on safety feature and ensuring the life of the product.

The dehumidifier worked well in my basement. I had to empty the reservoir daily so I know it was working well. Constant drain option via the hose is very convenient. Unit looks good, is quiet.

You may read my title and think, say what? Let me explain ... This unit is somewhat quieter than my older dehumidifier in a somewhat smaller package. It has the typical bells and whistles of other dehumidifiers I've owned. The controls are easy to understand as long as you read the manual once. This unit does not have wifi controls or monitoring, but I don't care about that. My only beef about the design is that the air intake is on the backside of the unit so the front is nice and pretty. The problem with that is the manual suggests a minimum of 18 inches clearance from the back of the wall and sides. So if you want to use this dehumidifier the main part of your home you can't place it inconspicuously near a wall or next to other furniture. Other than that, it's a nice unit, and hopefully will last several years.
