I was looking for an inbetween size dehumidifier.I didnt want the small units and after purchasing 3-4 bigger units they were too bulky and noisy.I decided to try this Uhome unit.I just got it but so far so good.The water reservoir is a good size,it has the humidistat controls where it kicks on and off once desired himidity is reached,its not bulky and its really quiet.It got the humidity down in the room i needed it from 75 to a comfortable 50-55 and works very well.I would suggest this to anyone looking for a medium size dehumidifier!

this is the second dehumidifier i’ve purchased, took a lot of time looking at reviews on here and trying to decide which one i should get. was very nervous but i love it. does it’s job well for my apartment… idk the exact sq footage of my apartment but i know it’s roughly maybe 500 sq ft? it’s tiny but this things works like a CHARM. so good there for a while i was getting bloody noses and dumping it out almost once every two days. But at least i know it was working. i had it set to 30-40% which was a little too dry. Love the fact it does shut off when it’s at the set humidity. i have a smaller one i bought first but it’s too small, doesn’t have a set humidity preference and tbh i don’t think it does much but it does something. that’s why i broke down and got a bigger one. came packaged well, no damage. if you’re looking for a good dehumidifier for your small/medium size apartment (that are very old, and have a nasty damp basement shared with all tenants in that building) this is the one to buy. i have trouble believing reviews sometimes but if it helps i’m a 24 year old female living alone in my first apartment- i don’t really know what i’m really looking for in these but i think i made the best choice here and i definitely recommend. i try to make reviews so that people like me who are searching for something and read reviews get an honest look at what they’re looking for. i searched forever and this is the one i settled on and i think it was a great choice!

Three and a half months in, using this in an 11 sq m/120 sq ft room cooled by a mini-split air-con unit, and I can say it does significantly change the comfort in my home office. In one way, it's been a life-saver in making the small building habitable during hot and humid months, keeping the humidity level at about 50%, which is plenty good enough with the room temp being 25C/77F. Before this unit, the mini-split air con regularly had the humidity in here at 70+%, often higher than outdoors and just too sticky to comfortably work in. In that sense, the UHome unit has been transformative. The major downside now is that it has started leaking water out of the bottom just above the power cable way before the tank fills, and there are regular instances of it icing up on occasion and leaking water everywhere. I now have to keep the unit sitting in a shallow storage container. I've cleaned the filter, run the unit's self-cleaning function several times, and given it more space from the wall (all factors in dehumidifiers icing up), to no avail. I suspect the humidity sensor is not functioning correctly (the blower fan seems OK, judging by air output, and these are the two most common issues), which is a bad look after not even four months. When this machine works, it's lovely. When it doesn't, you come home to puddles and another problem to deal with. If you're up for regular maintenance to save some money, I can see where this unit would serve you well. Otherwise, upgrade because one gets what one pays for here.

This little machine has accompanied us on a 5 month, 12,000+ mile road trip through 25+ states in our 24ft motorhome and is my new best friend. We obviously didn’t need it in the desert areas, but it’s done an incredible job keeping the late summer humidity down while we were in the PNW, MT, SD, MN, WI, IN, VT, NH and now ME (the last couple of months have been consistently in the 70-90+% humidity ranges, and this thing helps our RV stay between 40-50% Rh even without the AC running. To take breaks we sometimes rent a house or a cabin and this month, we stayed in a rental cabin and then a rental house with mini-split AC units that couldn’t keep up and I’ve seriously wanted to just go out to the driveway and sleep in the RV! Mind you the RV is only 250 square feet, but we leave it in the shower with the clear tube running right into the drain and it keeps the entire space comfortable. So I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this for a bedroom or small apartment or a large bathroom :).

I read 30 pint in the description and expected the well to hold that much water, it does not. It hold maybe 3 pints, so it has to be emptied often. Other than that it works fine, and it’s quiet.
