Great SURFACE shave when you need to leave quick, but it isn't a CLOSE shave. You want to use it if you want to look good first glance, or to keep over grown hair from sticking to your clothes or when you feel like going out without bothering to be extra itchy or hairy. But if you like a really close and smooth shave this trimmer is not for you. That's what it does, it trims. So if you like being smooth for intimate reasons or for self satisfaction get yourself a different one 😅 I like it though, I don't do close shaves often since it can get itchy so this the job just fine.

I was hoping this razor might be a great alternative to my corded hair shaver. It does work great on keeping shorter hair short, if you don't mind cleaning out the blades every few minutes. But for longer hair, it just doesn't work. I like to keep my chest hair about half its normal length and used the cutting guard to try and trim it. Unfortunately, it mostly just pushed the hair around instead of cutting it, although it did randomly cut some of it. I had to end up using my corded trimmer to recut all of it so it was as short as I wanted and uniformly cut. The battery life is great and the light is helpful. It just doesn't work on longer hair.

Well, I was eager to give this gadget a thumbs up, but it turned out to be as powerful as a sleepy kitten. Attempting to tame my unruly beard felt like a scene from a medieval torture chamber—the thing practically yanked out the hairs! I swear, I could've planted a garden with all the roots stuck in the blades after my 20-minute struggle. It couldn't even handle my chest hair—nope, not even close. I didn't dare take it below the belt. Let me tell you, this purchase ranks right up there with my regrettable decisions—maybe even worse than that time I thought buying a pet rock was a good idea. I mean, if I'd spent $20 on this, I'd feel swindled. But no, I shelled out over $80! Ended up replacing it with a $25 Walmart special that did the job just fine. Do yourself a favor: steer clear of this brand unless you're into self-inflicted pain and amateur gardening.
