  • Sigma Camera Lens
Style: Lens Only
Love Sigma camera lens. I own a couple for different cameras. The focus is great, making the lens more affordable than other brands, a little on the heavy side, but I am getting older. Fast beautiful pictures, fits perfectly on my camera and in camera bag.

  • The King of Sharp Telephoto Lens
Style: Lens Only
This lens is much better than I expected, with super sharp image quality throughout the entire zoom range, and fast AF, moderate weight (not too heavy) and reasonable size ( not too large like Sigma 60-600mm or Sony's 200-600mm), yet at a very attractive price ( I got a very good second-hand used lens), it worth every penny to shoot for wildlife or landscape. ... show more

  • Really a great glass
Style: Lens Only
What's not to like? I gave the auto focus only 4 out of 5 stars simply because it can be just a bit slow. Not critically slow, but a little quicker on the draw would be nice. Aside from that, the only other minor complaint I have is that the locking mechanism can be a bit tempormental and require a little persistance to get it to lock the zoom in place. I susspect that is sort of specific to my lens, as I've not heard anyone else mentioning this issue with their lenses. This would be an absolute dream lens if it apertured to 2.8, and if it did, I'd probably hardly ever remove it from my camera, but alas, you're just going to have to work around a narrower aperture in those lower light situations if you want to purchase this glass. Aside from the items mentioned above, it's a killer deal for what it costs. It's superbly made, solid, and for the 150-600mm zoom, it's pretty compact and very reasonably priced. For those of us that don't have $20k to spend on a super-telephoto lens with a 2.8 aperture, you just can't beat this alternative. Most definately would recommend this lens. It's a steal. ... show more

  • Good lens although a bit pricey
Style: Lens Only
My son wanted this lens for his camera. He says It is a good lens but doesn’t understand why camera equipment has to be so expensive. This helps him take close up images for his photography in sports. He uses it for baseball, softball, lacrosse and a few other sports.

  • Not worth the hassle
Style: Lens Only
I buy a lot of used products because I do like to try and give things a second chance and not add to waste. This was listed as a “VERY GOOD” used item. With that in mind I completely understand if there are some minor to major scuff marks that you will be able to see, or having some normal use case damage that you would expect because you are indeed getting a used item. But this was very far from very good. It was missing Two screws at the top of the lens. It has scratches inside of the lens which I am lead to believe that this lenses was used at the beach because their is some sand still inside the mechanism. But worst of all it was most likely dropped in water because you see some rust and corrosion on the hood cap screw and the telephoto itself is verryyy sticky, it has no creep to it at will even on the smooth setting with the lens. When ever you extend the photo lens’s it sounds like styrofoam cracking. There is also a loud squeak when you extend the lens. In a field use case scenario it would be Very difficult to try and use this lens due to the fact that you have the most trouble just trying to do the whole purpose of this lens and that is to zoom. I would not say that is it a VERY GOOD used item. ... show more

  • Great lens
Style: Lens Only
Great Sigma lens with fast auto-focus and excellent range. The pictures are 0-10m range are great as well. One issue I have is with some of the lens controls being a bit stiff, but perhaps this is because I bought a used lens? Also, the seller's packaging seems insufficient since the lens cap was loose in the box leaving the lens glass exposed in the box. ... show more
