I've been using my UE WONDERBOOM for about a month now, and I have no complaints! I was introduced to UE at a pool party last summer, and I fell in love with how the BOOM 2 speakers could be paired to maximize sound. I live in a 1BR apartment and I'm never called upon to supply the hardware at parties :) so I didn't *need* the ability to connect more than two speakers. I knew the WONDERBOOM would more than meet my present and future needs when the time came. The time came about a month ago (March 2018), when the freebie Bluetooth speaker I won at work finally died. I opted for the Phantom Black color for my first one (my next will undoubtedly be Cashmere Pink). I didn't need much from my speaker: compact, lightweight, waterproof, and the ability to control my playlist without my phone. This speaker delivered on all counts, AND it sounds amazing! The sound is clear, with none of the "tinny" reverberations that often accompany low-quality gear. I listen to it for about an hour a day, daily. I use it in the shower, BUT on the lip of the tub, behind the liner. I've charged it twice since I purchased it--and honestly, both times were because the charger was nearby. It's a great little speaker that lets me blast Pharrell and Anderson .Paak with perfect clarity. I highly recommend it! ... show more

For a Bluetooth portable speaker, this device really exceeded my expectations. First off, for it’s compact size the sound quality is “booming”, sorry couldn’t help myself. But honestly, the bass is loud enough to power a darty, or in 2020, turn your room into a mini Coachella - even more so if you link multiple of these bad boys together. The highs are crisp and clear, definitely give kudos to UE for sound quality. Next, the battery life is amazing. I believe it’s advertised for 10 hours, but for some reason it feels like mine lasts a whole 24. It’s also super durable and completely waterproof, so it’s safe from your friend that turns into Aquaman when he hops in the pool and splashes everyone. Lastly, for about the price of a video game ($65) you’re getting your money’s worth. Wrapping up, if you’re looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker with awesome sound quality, battery life, durability, and value this is it P.S. this is an honest review. Just hope this speaker can provide you some good vibes during these difficult times :) ... show more

This is my 3rd different product from the Ultimate Ears team, and an early candidate for my favorite. I've had the UE Mini Boom for years and it's still been my every day speaker when getting ready in the morning, and for travel. I also bought a UE Boom which i like but it's a bit big for every day use and travel but is great for when you need a louder speaker (picnic, party, etc). This thing is the perfect size though (about the size of a softball I'd say), and it really seems to get more low end somehow than either of the previous speakers. There is also a loop on it that you can hitch it to many things (carabiner's, shower caddy, towel rack, backpack, etc). It's also water proof and drop resistant apparently, though I have yet to try either. I have had it near my shower and it has worked fine but I've never put it into water or a splash area yet. I trust them that it would work as claimed though, since the durability and quality of the previous speakers has served me well for years. Highly recommend this speaker as well as any of their others. Money well spent! ... show more

I bought this because one of the things we enjoy is to leave our phone on the shore at the lake and have our music floating with us. I not only wanted it for the waterproof factor but the long range of the bluetooth. Once it arrived I sat it on my back porch and took off walking away from it. I stopped walking when I felt like I had gone far enough and my husband said it never stopped playing! The 100 feet of range is accurate if, like me, this is important to you. The sound quality is really good for what I paid. I like that you can hear it from any angle or position. I won't know about the waterproof feature until I am at the lake this coming weekend but for what I paid I couldn't be happier! The size is perfect, it's a little shorter than a soda can, but a little wider than a soda can, if that helps you with the size. Very nice product with the features I was looking for! ... show more

They say you can't have everything and even George Carlin agreed, asking "If you did, where would you put it?!" BUT, this speaker is as close as it gets to having everything and in one place. I got my first Wonderboom a year ago and this new one adds so much sound, because I can pair them together for a knock-out sound that just amazes me every time I listen. I can pause and skip songs easily right from the Wonderboom, or from my phone. Battery life is great, 10 hours at medium volume, less if it's cranked up. It's size is surreal, when you listen the the sound...it's hard to believe, but I do after hundreds of hours of listening. I don't care if it floats, but getting it wet or if it fell in the lake, there would be no issue. Pairing to each other and the phone is a snap. I'd give these 6 stars, if I could.
