It you're a Carpenter and/or Woodworker... just get these. Pros: Mark well on a variety of materials Less sharpening Built in sharpener All have clothing clips Incredible value Cons It would be nice to have a heavier duty case, but for the price this is minor. I'm a carpenter and woodworker by trade. While I used mechanical pencils in my workshop and for fine work, out in the field I still used the square carpenters pencils. Partially because I would lose them all the time. The first day I used these I decided I'll never go back to the square ones. There are 3 reasons I wanted to ditch the square ones. They are cheap and the leads constantly break. They require constant sharpening if your doing anything but rough in work. I lose them constantly. Seriously I had to have 3-4 pencils handy all the time so I wouldn't have to search for them. These are easy to keep sharp and if you're doing rough in work there isn't a need to. The built in sharpener means at anytime you can shave then to a super fine out. The build quality is solid and they just feel good in my hands. Plus they have a clip to hang on my shirt if in a pocket. No longer searching for my pencil!
