Recently, in the snowy weatherIt, it has been especially useful in cold weather. The heater mode warms up my room quickly and feels more consistent than I expected. It is nice to have steady heat without the dry, harsh feeling some space heaters give, and the auto swing helps spread warmth more evenly. The remote makes it easy to adjust settings from bed, yeah it is important in the cold, sooo good, and the timer is practical. The dehumidifier and fan modes are a nice bonus for year round comfort. Once summer comes, I am looking forward to seeing how well the cooling performs for a larger room.

F1 LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY LIT. THE DRAIN IS IN A VERY BAD LOCATION TO DRIN THE TANK. TECK SUPPORT STATED ITS A POOR DESIGN. THIS UNIT NEED TO BE RASED OFF THE FLOOR TO BE ABLE TO DRAIN THE TANK ATLEAST 6 INCHES. THIS IS NOT STATED IN THE PRODUCT REVIEW ANYWHERE. ALREADY RUINED MY NEW CARPET!!

This portable AC has been great so far and honestly feels like a really solid pick. It’s super convenient in a smaller garage and cools the space down pretty quickly on the warmer days this time of year, even though it hasn’t been all that hot overall. The controls and remote are easy to use, so once it’s set up you pretty much just turn it on and get back to whatever you’re doing. The noise has been totally reasonable for a portable unit, and it hasn’t gotten in the way during workout sessions in the garage. The built‑in heater is a nice bonus for cooler nights since there’s no HVAC out there, but the AC is definitely the main thing and it’s been doing a good job in the few weeks of using it. It’s also been raining a lot lately, so the dehumidifier mode has actually been tested quite a bit and seems to be working well at keeping the garage from feeling damp and stuffy. It’s not the easiest thing to move around, but once it’s in place it does what it needs to do and makes the garage a much nicer place to hang out and work.

The media could not be loaded. We have a room upstairs that is not connected to our heating and cooling unit. It makes the room somewhat unusable except for storage. This unit changes things for us, in effect, expanding our home. I was impressed by the way it was shipped, with instructions on the outside of the box, showing how to easily unpack the unit without causing any damage. It is somewhat heavy so the instructions really made a difference. Because of the packing it arrived in great shape. It has great startup instructions and adequate detailed instructions. Getting it operating was a breeze. I am able to use it in a horizontal sliding window and the unit contains all of the accessories necessary to do the installation. Then I just plugged it in and tried it out. It both cools and heats very effectively. The air flow is adjustable and powerful in the high setting. It also seems to me to operate quietly considering the air movement and that it is an indoor ac/heating unit. I also like the remote a lot. It is easy to use and has an LED screen showing the temperature setting. The settings for auto temperature and operation timer are also very nice features.
