Quick shipping! Which was much needed with the heat wave that just hit my area in March. Opened up to easy installation instructions which was super helpful! The set up was easy, and fairly quick all things considered. I wanted to have this since my AC has been having issues for summer. It has helped for now to keep the main room cold and not have to run my whole system constantly. It got cold quickly, and was fairly quiet. I’m not expecting it to be silent, there is noise. But, compared to others I’ve had this one does not seem as loud. For the price, I’d absolutely recommend it as I’ve seen these things go for a pretty steep price.

I have been using this portable air conditioner for a week now and overall I am very happy with how well it works. It does a surprisingly good job cooling the room and makes a noticeable difference, especially during warmer days. The cooling power feels strong and consistent, and it is able to bring the temperature down fairly quickly in my space. It is advertised for rooms up to 700 sq.ft and it handles larger rooms better than I expected. One feature I really appreciate is the multiple modes. In addition to the cooling function, it also works as a fan and a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier mode is especially useful when the air feels heavy or humid because it helps the room feel much more comfortable. The fan mode is also nice when full cooling is not necessary but you still want some air circulation. The remote control makes everything very convenient. I can easily adjust the temperature, change modes, or set the timer without getting up. The sleep mode is also a great feature because it gradually adjusts the temperature through the night so the room stays comfortable while sleeping. The timer and auto swing function help distribute the cool air more evenly around the room. Setup is fairly straightforward, but it is important to know that this type of portable air conditioner must be connected to a window for ventilation. The exhaust hose needs to be installed so the hot air can be pushed outside. Once the window kit is installed, the unit works exactly as it should. The only real downside is the noise level. It is definitely louder than a typical fan, especially when the compressor is running. It may take some getting used to if you are sensitive to sound, particularly in a quiet room. That said, the cooling performance makes up for it in my opinion. This portable AC unit works well, cools efficiently, and offers several useful features like dehumidifier mode, sleep mode, timer, and auto swing. This AC works amazing!!! The window kit it comes with can also accommodate large windows. Normally I'd have to get a 3rd party window kit to make it fit or do other janky stuff. The foam it comes with is easy to install and helps form a good and flush seal with the window. I use this to help cool down my "office" at home as the room gets hotter than the rest of the house. So far, it's been over 100 outside multiple days and this AC cools down my room instantly. I'm sure it's slightly overkill for the room size too(120ish square feet) but that helps it not work as hard too. The unit is also more quiet than I expected it to be. I'm on team calls often and my coworkers don't hear it running in the background whatsoever. Overall, I am super happy with this AC and how well it works. No more sweating while I work! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a portable AC.

I finally gave up on this Humhold unit after a week of trying to make it work. Honestly, don't let the "14,000 BTU" or the "700 sq. ft." claims fool you—it’s just not happening. I bought it for my living room, and even with all the blinds pulled and the door shut, it barely made a dent in the heat. It felt more like a slightly chilled breeze than an actual AC. The noise is another huge issue. It’s supposed to have a sleep mode, but the compressor is so loud it sounds like there’s a truck idling in the hallway. I had to turn my TV volume way up just to hear over it. Setting it up was a pain, too. The window kit felt really cheap and flimsy, and I had to use a ton of extra weather stripping just to keep the hot air from leaking back in. Plus, I felt like I was constantly draining the thing. For a "portable" unit, it’s a lot of high-maintenance work for very little cooling. I really wanted to like this because the price was decent, but it’s just not powerful enough for a large room. If you’re trying to cool anything bigger than a small office, I’d definitely look elsewhere. The Bad: Doesn't come close to cooling 700 sq. ft. Super noisy (even on "quiet" settings) Flimsy window kit Constant draining The Good: It looks nice, I guess? But that doesn't help when you're sweating.

Let me first start off by saying I'm a hot sleeper and also a very light sleeper. I needed a mini AC system just for my bedroom to supplement the whole house system. I had previously tried a more known brand (rhymes with TieFence) bought from our local hardware store, same 14,000 BTU, but man it was loud, I learned quickly why the decibles weren't listed on the product advertisement. I returned that model and bought this Humhold and yes, it does Humm! It's a bit heavy, but you shouldn't be lifitng it often, setup was a breese with clear instructions. My room gets nice and cool quickly and I run the unit all night long without hearing more than a whisper. Our master suite is roughly 400 sqft which this unit is probably overkill for, but with doors open it seems to help cool the other rooms upstairs as well. Reccomend purchasing and even considering a secong for myself.
