Minor assembly of the vent and window placement. The extension makes it super easy to place at almost any window with ease. The unit also came with a remote and batteries! Install took 5 mins and it was ready to go. Operation is pretty standard and instructions are easy to follow. I ran it for about 15 mins and it got cool fast and blew very well! No leakage and noise level was as expected for a portable AC unit. Very excited to put this unit to good use during the hot summer especially when the house AC unit isn’t cutting it. This is our second portable AC. We bought another brand about 5 years ago, which we left in the house we just sold. We wanted a way to cool our bedroom at night without cooling the whole house. After doing the research and reading reviews, I bought this one and I'm so glad I did. It is far quieter and more powerful that our previous unit and cools our large bedroom (20 x 15) much faster. We are venting it out a dryer vent cut into the wall, which seems to work well. Would definitely buy again.

This unit was purchased to cool approximately 650 square feet in a mobile home. The 10000 btu unit was not cutting it. We received it right on time and set it in place of the other unit. Within an hour the room dropped from 80 degrees down to 78. Very noticeable believe it or not. After a few hours the temperature was down to 72 or 73. It reasonably quiet, compared to most window units. It has a pretty powerful fan, you can feel the air moving pretty much everywhere in the room. Once it reaches the desired temperature it shuts off and starts up if in auto. It’s been doing a fantastic job keeping two rooms cool and comfortable through this Ohio valley heat. When selecting a unit size don’t forget to add approximately 100 btu per person . I’m impressed with how well this works. I’d give it five stars but the longevity is unknown. I definitely recommend the product as of now.

Great portable AC unit. I had a 10k BTU LG for over 10 years, but it was weak and never cooled my place completely. This unit (Domanki) is AWESOME! granted, it is a 14k BTU unit, but it works really well and it's quieter than my old 10k BTU unit. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased this portable AC unit on May 11, 2025, and was initially hopeful given its price point and positive reviews. Unfortunately, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. From the beginning, the unit has shown intermittent issues. It would run fine for a few days, then start tripping the breaker or shutting off after just a few minutes of use. This inconsistent behavior has repeated several times, making it impossible to rely on the unit during hot weather. I’ve done my due diligence: plugged it directly into a dedicated wall outlet, ensured no other devices were running on the same circuit, and even moved it to another location to test. The issues continued. Based on the symptoms, it seems like a possible compressor or internal fault, which is unacceptable for a unit that cost nearly $400. Now that the return/replacement window has closed, I’m left with an unreliable machine and no clear way to contact the seller. A product at this price point should last longer than six weeks — consistent, safe operation should be the bare minimum. I’m leaving this review in hopes that others avoid the same mistake. If you’re looking for a dependable portable AC, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded. This is a multi function portable air conditioner AND heater. It is extremely easy to set up right out of the box. It is quite heavy and it is very well constructed. This is much easier than setting up a window unit and less hazardous. It comes with all the material to vent it through a window and tubing to use for the dehumidifier. The slim remote control works well and is easy to handle. This is on wheels so it’s easy to move from one room to another. This runs quietly and cools things off quickly. I have tried all functions and the air flow is unbelievable. This is going to work perfect for my bedroom! Even my husband was impressed….

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Does very well and does cool well. It is pretty loud, louder than expected. It does have nice settings on it but I wish it had an app. It also is very unpredictable with how much water it produces. I have paid attention and it really doesn’t matter how hot or humid it is or how hard the unit works. It sometimes produces no water for a day or so but also sometimes will put out several gallons in just a couple hours. I have gotten out of bed with a pond in my floor before after dumping the 5 gallon bucket just 6 hours before.

Bought this for our apartment where we are only allowed to have floor AC units. Very pleased. Easy to set up, runs great and keeps most of our small apartment cool. It is a little loud (can make a loud vibrating/humming noise) but I expected that based on other floor AC units I have used. I haven't tried the dehumidifier setting because I do not want to deal with draining it through a tube, but the normal cool function works super great. Little pricey, but I definitely recommend.
