UPDATE: 7/26. The AC has been working like a charm all summer—no issues even with the super high temps we’ve had. It’s a great unit! We got this for my mom's apartment kind of very last minute when I knew the temps were going to soar and my mom had been putting off getting an AC unit since she'd had central air for so long, the whole idea of looking into portable AC units felt a bit overwhelming. Honestly, I picked this one because it could be delivered on time. Well, it's been great all summer. My mom's place is probably 1100-1200 square feet and this AC has kept the whole place cool enough. During the truly awful heat this summer it couldn't keep the whole place the 70 degrees that we set it at, but it managed to keep the temps quite pleasant. And now that the worst of the summer heat is over, it has no trouble at all keeping the place plenty cool. It truly has worked like a charm--not super loud, not as fragile as my old portable air conditioner seemed to be. I'm not sure about how energy efficient it is, but my mother has not complained about her electrical bill, so I'm guessing it is not too bad. I was worried that with the heat we've had this summer, this AC, which wasn't the most expensive and isn't a brand I knew, might not hold up, but it really has been great. This is my second purchase of this AC. My first unit was purchased in Sping 2025. I have both units in large rooms. One room is 600 sq ft. The other is 400 sq ft with a 10’ ft arched ceiling. They do cool the room well, but my room temps never go below 77 degrees when it is over 87 degrees outside with high humidity. The 10 degrees spread is about right with the high 90s temperatures. I found that I get better cooling in dehumidifier mode than AC mode. If you don’t properly seal the window vent, the best cooling temperatures in the room will be in the low 80s. Also I use extra fans to move the cool air and I keep the humidity in my home at 45% with extra dehumidifiers. My 2025 unit worked well last year and it is working fine this year. I followed directions to shut it down and clean it before storing it. The differences between the 2025 and 2026 models is the window vent was redesigned. The new vent fits better in the window, but it has more air gaps to seal. The window output vent is circular in 2026, while rectangular in 2025. Why 4 stars? Energy costs to run it every month are higher than my central AC and it does not cool as well as central AC. It does cool well enough to not get overheated or uncomfortable. This is why I bought a second one instead of paying to get my central AC replaced. ... show more

This air conditioner ONLY worked for one season. It was used for about 4 months. It worked great throughout the summer. When we took it out in May for this season of use. It would not blow any cold air. The fan and compressor turned on but no cool or cold air was coming out. We have tried to get some help from both Amazon and the manufacturer but neither one has responded to our needs. We are very upset and are not happy with either company. We are out $450 dollars with no resolution. We would not recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

Its a great little machine. Wey have central AC, but it's controlled by mgmt. So we use the portable for additional cooling, & only at night to sleep. A little noisy but we used it as white noise to block out the outside noise. We're very happy with it.

Amazing AC. I had a little extra install working because of my windows. This cooled my rooms down quickly and stays consistent. I love it. It cools my kitchen, living room and allows flow down the hall into my bathroom. Cools WAY more space than it said it would. Very minimal noise, just sounds like a small fan blowing. Barely notice. Easy to clean the filters, draining the excess water is very easy and Self Evaporating, there's not much to drain. Highly recommend!!!! Well worth the money. ... show more
