Very durable. Only complaint, and maybe it's because of the low quality mattress I have, is that the bars at the foot and the head keep coming off but again that could be because of the mattress leaving those areas exposed.

This was totally what I needed and wanted. I had been sleeping on the floor with just a mattress pad. Then, my boyfriend and I got a mattress but no box spring. We looked around for a frame, one we could afford but that was a bust! So, I went to my go to place; Amazon. I checked out lots of the bed frames and read all of the reviews of the ones I was interested in. This one stood out with lots of positive feedback. It was also on sale. It arrived when it said it would. My boyfriend was out running errands so I thought I would try to assemble it myself. When he returned, not only had I assemble it, I had the mattress on and the bed made up! It's been almost a month and we absolutely love it! We have a full size bed, but this can be adjusted to fit other sizes. It's strong, our mattress doesn't slide off, and it doesn't make a sound when we get in and out of bed. Easy to set up. The instructions sheet is a general standard boiler plate. It really doesn't align with the variety of the metal bedframes the company manufacturers. Every metal bedframe has a slight difference in the making. The instructions sheet should be specific for each model. Secondly, your mattress may shift. There's no stop gap on the bedframe to prevent this from happening. If you purchased a thick mattress along with a memory foam topper, you may want to consider buying a step-up to climb into your tall bed or just find the metal bedframe that has the stop gap feature (enclosure).     • Slats different sizes; fell out while on bed
UPDATE- About 15 minutes after I wrote the first review, I tried to get out of the bed (with my 3 week old newborn) and the slats all fell in the top where a headboard would go. My husband came in to take the baby and when he was trying to see why they fell, he realized that they are all different sizes. We will be returning this and I would not recommend purchasing. ———————————————————— Easy to assemble, tall, sturdy. Only complaint is that there is one slat that keeps popping out of place up where the your head goes. It’s super annoying and terrifying to feel a slat fall when you are literally sitting in bed not doing anything. I wish the slats had some kind of grooves on them to hold them in place rather than just being placed in the slots. ... show more

I've owned the metal bed frame (pictured) for two weeks now and I love it. Seems to be extremely solid/sturdy, quiet and easy to assemble. Sixteen inches of storage space underneath is great! My mattress is a true innerspring so I wish the cross members were spaced a bit closer together to provide a little more support for the springs but, if in the future that becomes an issue and the mattress begins to sag between cross members, I'll just insert a piece of plywood between the frame and the mattress, not a problem. I highly recommend purchasing a set of mattress holders (see attached picture) to insure that the mattress doesn't slide left/right or off the foot of the frame. I purchased these from a different Amazon seller. They came as a pack of six (two at the foot and two on each side). They are very sturdy and very easy to install and well worth the money. UPDATE: 10-05-25......I've owned this bed frame now for a little over 2 years and I still love it. No noise and still remains extremely sturdy. ... show more
