Super item. Arived boxed well and was better than expected. Not difficult at all to put together if your capable of following simple directions and illustrations. All items were well marked including the hardware. A pleasant surprise was there was a clearly marked package with extra hardware and a spare piece of all the rubber pads pieces. Tossed the mattress down on it and immediately took a Saturday afternoon Siesta not as much as a creak out of the frame. I should have replaced my old box springs and bed frame year ago. BTW I'm a big guy a few biscuits north of 3 bills.

How coincidental, Amazon is asking me to rate this bed frame and I’m assembling the first of the two I bought. Right now I can’t say anything about it’s use since it is 3/4 put together. What I can say is this is now the third weekend I’ve worked on it. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m pretty good when it comes to assembling furniture, but the reason it is taking me this long is because the we are required to have smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in each bedroom. The detector started beeping like a it was time to change the battery, we did, 6 hours later the beeping would resume. So I couldn’t finish the assembly. The detector is only a couple years old, but my husband detached it until it can be replaced. Plus I’m doing the assembly myself. The instruction book isn’t took bad. It’s all in diagrams. The parts are marked and match the picture as you put the frame together. Nice, but sometimes explanations help. It can be done by yourself, but would go faster with a little help. Like someone to help align the hole for screwing the screws. The frame is all metal and a decent weight so I would expect this to last. Mine is a 4” and the mattress will be a 12”. I purposely bought a lower frame so my dogs won’t get under it. Right now I have a matress frame that is about a foot off the floor with an 18” Saatva mattress. This by puts me about 28” off the floor and is too high. You need to turn Saatva mattresses, but this one is too heavy to do that. I’m hoping the new mattress will be comfortable and the frame lasts. I will need to edit this review once I start using the frame.

Product works great and easy to put together. However, when I asked Amazon reviews AI about being headboard compatible it said it had three predrilled holes for headboard. Mine did not come with this and it is not out of the box compatible for headboard attachments. The corner slots being predrilled for bolts to screw in makes it not possible to adapt to put brackets in for headboard. Good frame but don’t buy if planning to attach headboard
