This is the third tablet that I have purchased for a friend. For the money, you can’t resist this deal. The tablet is easy to set up and use and for the price it’s includes the cover and a stylus. It’s a terrific product.

It's good for what I need it for
Color: Blue
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this for the large screen to read music on. I think it will work well for that purpose, but there are some issues if I wanted to use it for other things. The case is not great. The buttons for power and volume are on the same side as the pocket for the stylus, so there is extra space between the buttons on the case and the buttons on the device. This makes it awkward and you have to push quite hard and make sure it stays lined up. The stylus is cheap, doesn't look very functional. That's fine, I'm not expecting much for this price and I don't use it really anyway. It has a pre-installed matte screen cover. It helps block glare, which is good for my purposes, but not so good if you're wanting to watch a lot of media as the screen isn't as sharp looking. Also, there are some dust/bubbles in it as it came, especially around the edge. The touch screen is a little unresponsive at times, most likely because of that screen cover. Even if it isn't a problem with the cover, it could be because of the bubbles that are causing the issues. There's no calibration software loaded so I'm still looking for ways to doctor that. The camera app seems buggy. I thought there was an orientation issue, but the camera content seems to move fine, but the UI for the camera does not change orientation so it is upside down or sideways unless you have it in a certain direction. Again, no calibration software so I can't check for hardware issues, but this seems like an app issue. I won't be using the camera much anyway, but sometimes I may need to take a photo of music so is like it available. I tested some other functionalities, it seems to run videos will, has decent sound, and looks to have decent processing power. Anyway, for what I need it for it will likely be adequate, but it isn't without issues. For the price, I got it on sale and it will be a bargain if it lasts several years as a music reader at that price. ... show more

Amazing 14" table, and it works well in my two bands.
Color: Blue
This now is an early review. I've only had it since Feb.28th, only 4 days. But, so far, it's amazing. I had thought about getting a 13|" tablet, but on the same page was this tablet for $30 more. I use it for projecting my sheet music in the concert band I perform in. I had thought I'd need to mount the tablet on a tripod to get a good image, but with Mobile Sheets software ($16) I was able to let the app take care of freezing the image and taking a good copy for the tablet. I've really been impressed with the 10 AH battery. It seems to last forever. And the tab has many of the same apps as a smartphone and man is that screen big. More later. I've now had this tablet around 5 months. I've used it for two concert bands. I bought this tablet with its $210 price tag so that should be a lemon, I wouldn't lose too much. To my surprise its an excellent tablet. Several players in my bands use 13" Apple tabs. The tablet is an excellent way to play concert music. ... show more

Revising my review. Company offered a replacement so I'm giving them another chance. Love the size of the screen and the tablet feels great in my hands.

They could have made it better.

This seems to be a decent tablet. I don't like the case that comes with it. And it's hard to even call it a case. It's silicone and it bends and I don't like it. I want a normal case. I went from a 11 inch tablet to this 14.1 in tablet. I want the kind of case that is made for the smaller screen tablets. Even the 12 and 13-in screens have a normal type case but they are not many to choose from. Okay so let's get to the other things. Picture is not as good as I thought it would be. For the price of this tablet the specs should be that of a 2K screen. I've had other tablets on a smaller screen that had a crisper clearer picture and cost less. I like that it has four speakers. It seems that a lot of apps that have movies, preset their volume so no matter what kind of speakers you have it's still does not come out loud. But that has nothing to do with the tablet it is the app. It comes with a protective screen on it but I don't think it is a very good quality one. The sensitivity of the touch of your finger, on the screen, is not as good as it should be. It is a little heavy but considering it's quite large that is okay. This tablet seems to charge faster when you use the cord that came with it. And let's go back to no case. I refuse to call that silicone thing a case. I had to buy a tablet cover, a sleeve that you slide it into and has a zipper closure in case I wanted to take it with me wherever I went. If there was a normal case those are usually good enough for protection. If I would have checked on the availability of a case for this tablet and found out there were none available I would have went down to a 12 or 13-in screen and I would not have gotten this one. ... show more
