This has worked like a dream! We previously had a wooden bed frame that kept splitting, squeaking, and swaying like a ship despite the advertised 500 pound weight limit. My husband was able to build this king sized metal one in 45 minutes by himself with no issues. It has not made a noise or felt wobbly once, thank goodness. Very happy with this purchase it’s a very sturdy frame easy to put together! Just one word of caution if you’re trying to slide it across the floor, put some anti-grip pads underneath all six legs because the grips on the feet are very effective and once you have an in place, it’s not going to move.

I seen the mixed reviews about this bed holding up to weight and decided to give it a chance. We have a 14 inch mattress and a 2 inch pillow topper. We needed something that was low profile so we didn't have to use a ladder to get into bed. The frame was really easy to put together and I was able to assemble it myself. The slates are not one giant one across the frame but one for each side. Having a 14 inch mattress is already a lot of weight by itself but to help our bed without having a box spring we put a piece of plywood down first. I had covered the frame in a fitted sheet so you don't see how low it is to the ground. I'm not a small woman and my husband isn't small as well. The frame holds us with no issues. We haven't heard it squeak or make any kind of noises at all. I'm a toss and turn kind of sleeper and I haven't had any issues with the bed not holding up. Even without putting a fitted sheet on the frame it had a great appearance for the color that it was. I didn't see any chipping of paint or anything. ... show more

Bad product. Bad customer service. The “clips” that hold the bed in place quickly bent and came off. I contacted the seller and Amazon about replacement parts. Just the clips. No help. Then, after six weeks of normal use, the “metal” bed slats that give this a (ha!) weight rating of 3000 pounds bent and came out. (See photo.) Under normal use. The other slats are bearing the extra weight and bending too; they won’t last very long. Six weeks of use and this piece of garbage is breaking. UPDATE: After sending photos of the bent slats, I was told it would be "too expensive" to send a replacement set of slsts. To clarify; two slats bent and unusable after 6 weeks. Others starting to bend. Offer of 4 slats would extend the life of the product by ...three months. Do NOT buy this product. SECOND UPDATE WITH NEW PHOTO: Had to install a bunkie board. Removed the mattress and found almost all the metal slats on this frame were bent after less than 10 weeks. Other reviews report similar issues. Look at the *complete* set of bent slats in the second photo. There's no excuse for this kind of quality fault. ... show more

Hubby said it was very easy to put together and it looks nice. Only 4 stars cause I believe there should be more border clamps. It would also be nice if there were holes to attach a headboard. Very solid and easy to put together once you study the picture instructions for a few minutes to note direction and sequence to install. Parts are labeled to correlate to the drawings. Few screws to put in, just be patient to line them up so they tread in properly. Extra parts supplied just in case, but did not need them. Very impressed!
