Very easy to assemble and ready for mowing. The battery life was great and only used half of my 5Ahr battery for 20 minutes of St. Augustine mowing in the top height setting. Next mowing in a couple days will be one notch lower. Easy to maneuver and very light weight to use. I probably would prefer an 18” cut but with only about 3000 sq ft to mow it still is a quick task. Over the weekend I was cleaning up the edges of the lawn around the driveway and fence line. The grass tends to grow quickly in those spots and my regular mower can’t reach them very well. I decided to use this cordless electric weed wacker for the job and it turned out to be really convenient for quick yard work. The first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how lightweight it feels. It’s easy to carry around the yard without feeling tired after a few minutes. I walked along the edges of the walkway and around a couple of flower beds and it was simple to control. The trimmer doesn’t feel bulky, so getting into tighter spots around the yard was much easier than using a larger machine. Since it’s cordless, there’s no need to drag a long extension cord behind you. I just charged the battery, snapped it in, and started trimming. That made moving around the yard much simpler, especially near the back fence and around the mailbox where outlets are far away. I also like the stringless design. There’s no need to deal with tangled trimmer line or constantly adjusting it. The cutting head handled the grass along the sidewalk edges and around the garden border without much effort. For regular grass and light weeds it works well and leaves the area looking neat. The handle feels comfortable while using it and the controls are easy to understand. Even if someone isn’t used to yard tools, it’s pretty straightforward to start and operate. One small thing is that for thicker weeds you may need to go over the area slowly, but for normal lawn trimming it does the job nicely. Overall this trimmer has been a handy tool for keeping the yard edges tidy. It’s light, easy to handle, and perfect for quick trimming around the house.

I quickly started using this cordless string trimmer as my main tool for yard work. I like that it's fully cordless. There are no cords to get in the way or get tangled up. Used this for some overgrown edges and it handled thicker grass better than expected. The brushless motor feels smooth and doesn’t struggle when the line hits tougher spots. The 16-inch cutting width helps cover more ground, so trimming goes a bit faster compared to smaller ones. I like the bump feed feature since it keeps the line moving without stopping every few minutes. It’s also nice that it works with DeWalt 20V batteries, especially if you already have a few around.
