Just needed a second PC computer for some work-related activities that my Mac couldn’t handle (it’s also quite old but I do t see any reason to replace it). I got this since the other reviews seemed quite good, it’s not as fast with loading high content things, so I wouldn’t recommend for gaming or video-editing activities as I don’t think the processing would keep up, but works fine for basic word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc (streaming is fine, just buffers a bit more/longer than my other computer). Also, this computer does run Windows, but it’s in S-mode meaning you’ll need to turn that off if you want to download any app/program that is NOT from the Microsoft store. It’s easy to do, just google instructions and you’ll be fine, and same goes for when you need to download a program and you get the error message “this download blocked by administrator....” in which you ARE THE ADMINISTRATOR, just google that too, lots of tutorials online on how to get around that as well.

I had high hopes for the Fusion5 laptop, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. While the price point is certainly appealing, especially for budget-conscious buyers, the performance and build quality left much to be desired. First, the performance is subpar. The laptop feels sluggish even with basic tasks like browsing or using office apps. The processor struggles with more demanding applications, and multitasking is often a pain, with noticeable lag and slowdowns. Even though it comes with decent storage, the overall responsiveness just doesn't measure up to other laptops in this price range. The build quality is another letdown. The laptop feels cheap and flimsy, and the plastic exterior gives it a lightweight, low-end feel. The screen is also disappointing, with poor color accuracy and low brightness, making it difficult to use in anything other than dim environments. Additionally, the keyboard feels cramped, with shallow key travel that can make typing uncomfortable over long periods. Battery life is another issue. While Fusion5 claims several hours of use, I found the battery to drain quickly, especially when running multiple applications. The charger also feels a bit flimsy, and I had concerns about its durability. Overall, the Fusion5 laptop might be okay for light, occasional use, but it falls short in terms of performance, build quality, and overall user experience. If you're looking for a laptop that can handle more demanding tasks or just feel more premium, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. It’s definitely not the best value in its price range.

I bought this computer for one specific need and now use it for general personal activity. I needed something to browse the web, document creation and modification, upload and download files. In addition, I stream some videos. This computer has been 100% adequate for those needs. It does not come with the Microsoft applications (just Windows). You will have to use the online resources for those. It is slower loading websites than I would like, but overall fine if you have a bit of patience. It streams standard definition videos without stopping to buffer. The speaker is not very loud, but it connects to blue tooth speakers just fine. Camera and microphone are good for online meetings. You will probably not be able to game on this computer. Build quality is middle of the road. Screen opens with some effort and is a bit floppy. Same with keyboard. Two USB ports. Headset and screen port. I took it on a trip and had no issues. Battery life is good, about 2 hours of activity. My biggest gripes are (1) the space bar doesn't always take input and (2) I drag my thumbs across the mouse pad and accidently move my cursor. Both of those could be operator error. I totally recommend this computer if you are looking for a cheap computer for basic personal business. If you are looking for high performance for gaming or HD video playback, this it not the computer for you.

I bought this for a friend who was always using the phone as a computer. There was always trouble when using the phone keyboard to order something because of how small it was and also it was hard to see an entire web page on the phone screen. This is a perfect solution for someone who needs to use it for basic use (e-mail and web surfing). It's nice and light weight too and has sleek look to it. In my opinion, you can't find a better product for the price.

Has a great screen, it is lightweight, and for things like Microsoft word document editing its great. However, anything involving the internet is an absolute disaster as far as I can tell. I’m not a tech person, so I can’t tell you why there’s such a massive amount of lag between inputs and the effect. I can be sitting there for upwards of 10 seconds waiting for what I typed to appear in the search bar, and this is a regular consistent issue. The sound quality of the built in speakers are awful too. Don’t bother with the smaller of the two storage options, I got the bigger of the two and it’s already half full just from the OS, the basic programs of windows 10, and Microsoft office 365. Speaking of storage space, it can be upgraded with a hard drive, on the underside there’s two screws and a piece of plastic covering a hard drive port. However, nowhere can you find the actual size of this space. Does it need 2.5 inch? Smaller? Bigger? I have no idea! They SAY you can buy one from fusion5 directly on their website but this is straight up false. I’ve been to their website and I’ve combed it up and down twice. No hard drives. It has potential to be a great laptop, with a hard drive upgrade and maybe a switch to an OS with a lighter footprint if that’s possible. In its current state it’s not too useful, but you get what you pay for I guess.
