This portable AC is fabulous!!! Our 4 AC’s all died at the same time. We live in CA & it is in the 6 digits every day. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to find a company & technicians to repair our actual electrical to our home!!! So our home has only 3 outlets that work! This AC IS THE ONLY AC we have in our home. 2 people. Plus a Rottweiler and a Doberman!!! We have been waiting for more than a month and we haven had a crew come over, however nothing has been done!!!! The extension cord for the AC is the only relief we have!!! ... show more

    • Nope!
Annoying to set up compared to others I’ve had. Only stays on for a few minutes before blowing a fuse. While on blasts a strong chemical smell. What a mistake this was!

    • Not drain free.
I purchased this because it was supposed to be “drain free”. It is in fact NOT drain free. Very disappointing.

    • Does not work unless you attach exhaust hose to window
Make sure you realize that while mobile, the unit only works if you attach the exhaust hose to a window. If you don’t connect an exhaust hose to a window, the unit just blows hot air out the back, negating all the cool air coming out the front. I’m returning it because the window hose is not a good option. Wish the description was more clear about that. It’s misleading when it says you can wheel it from room to room, because while that is true, it will only work if you then connect the exhaust fan from the unit to a window so it blows outside. ... show more

    • Powerful, easy to install but loud
Our AC died and we were looking for a temporary solution. This unit did the trick. 14,000 BTU works well to cool our Pennsylvania townhouse in August. We have it located on main floor with a cathedral ceiling. It's keeping the main floor a cool 69 degrees except when we (3 warm bodies) watch TV before sunsets. It did a great job in the first 2 hours on removing humidity from the house (I installed on a rainy day). Installation was a cinch. The auto setting is great because I find at night it cools enough to move into a lower fan setting. It is noisy so watching tv requires an increased volume but the white noise is worth the cooling power. Highly recommend. Be sure to keep it sitting upright when moving. ... show more

    • It’s pretty quiet and easy to set up. Cools good.
I’ve only had the unit for about a week but seems to be working as advertised. It’s pretty quiet, even on high speed. I live in a coastal community in Texas so it always hot. I would recommend if you want to cool a good size room. I’m thinking of buy another for my bedroom.
