Such a good product! Very quiet to be such a powerful cooling machine. Much less noise than others. The magnetic remote holder is an awesome feature- the remote in general is a great addition! Setup is super easy and I was shocked it came with literally everything that I needed to set it up. Assembly was simple! This is so needed with daily temperatures of 90+ when our home HVAC just can't keep up. This unit was easy to install and it works amazingly well. The only complaint I have is...it is very loud....I have no idea why others say it is quiet. It is not quiet by any means.

Really nice unit that cools really quickly! From the first time I started it up, it took about 5 seconds before ice cold air started to come out. It took only a few minutes to set it all up and get it running (not including putting the foam seals around the window as I haven't decided on where exactly I want to place it) The operation is simple and easy to understand, though I still recommend reading the manual. The unit is quite heavy though so keep that in mind. It's about 75lbs, but once you are able to get it out of the box and off the styrofoam bottom, it is pretty easy to move around thanks to it having wheels on the bottom. Air filters are easy to get to and clean, and the drains are nice and securely sealed when not being used so you don't have to worry about water leaking. Overall this is a very nice portable A/C and I hope it will last for many years as I don't like being hot or sweaty! ... show more

I have central ac but my master bedroom is never cool, I’m not sure if it is too far from the system or something, but This ac cools my room so fast within minutes, literally like less than 10 minutes. Living in the humid, muggy Carolinas in the peak of summer, I decided to put an end to my nightly saga of getting drenched in sweat while building things in the garage, and invest in one of these. They’re not cheap, but they’re certainly cheaper than you’ll find at any big box store, and with 14,000 BTUs this thing CRANKS some cool. If we were living here longer I’d probably invest in a mini split, but for about 10x less cost, this thing does as great of job — plus it’s portable!
