Very impressed with this ac unit. Prevents the window shaker hanging out the window look. Cools the room to the desired setting and automatically shuts off when it reaches the desired setting. Quiet operation in comparison to a typical window shaker.

I have been using this portable AC for a couple of weeks now, and I am really impressed with how well it performs. Setup was super straightforward. I had it up and running in under 15 minutes without needing any tools. The window kit fit perfectly, and the instructions were easy to follow. In terms of cooling, this unit works great. I am using it in my living room around 500 sq ft, and it cools the space down pretty quickly, even during hotter afternoons. Within about 20 minutes, I can already feel a big difference, which makes me feel survived from the hot. This makes it worth the price. Noise-wise, it's what I would expect from a portable AC, noticeable but not disruptive. I even used the sleep mode at night, and it was comfortable enough from me to fall asleep without issues.

This does not blow out cold air. I called customer service and the “pro” is not available to help me for at least 24 hours, and in fact, right away, the person wanted to give me a return instructions rather than trying to solve the problem. I’ve had it on the auto setting as well as the cool setting. It will randomly blow out a burst of cool air for a few seconds and then revert to normal air temperature for a few minutes. The room has been 81° for over 20 minutes without any change in temperature despite running this on cool mode, auto mode, and with the turbo function.

Life saver! HVAC went out and took a few weeks to have tech’s come out and fix. We bought this for the meantime, definitely was our saving grace. Intend to keep around just in case. Cools rooms quickly. Easy to take from one room or the idea, once we settled on where we wanted it. Remote control makes it easier to adjust. It is a bit loud, even on sleep mode but we’ve also never had to use a portable AC. We learned to set it a few degrees cooler than what we wanted cause it’ll stop once it reaches temp, then turn back on.

It does work okay to keep the room. Cool has an auto button.That's well worth it. My only complaint is that it is loud.Especially if the room is small. Does have a cool look to it, though. And it's not ugly, so it doesn't kill your room, but don't put on watching T. V. Unless it's turned up loud because of the noise.

I bought this unit under the assumption I was actually getting 14,000 BTUs, but after I got it and got it all hooked up I look at the box and see that it has two ratings: 14,000 BTUs ASHRAE, and 10,000 BTUs DOE. I looked this up. ASHRAE vs DOE is essentially perfect lab conditions vs real world conditions. This product was only advertised as 14,000 BTUs for up to 700 square feet, but the Department of Energy (DOE) estimates that the 10,000 BTU that THEY rated it at is only good for up to 450 square feet. Now, I can say this unit absolutely pumps out cold air. But the room I need it to keep cool is around 600 square feet, and it gets HOT where I am during the summer. Over 110 degrees at times. It is 83 degrees today and this unit is not able to keep the room cool. Basically this unit wasn't advertised properly. I think it should be required to state not only the ASHRAE, but also the DOE ratings to give people the best chance of buying what will work for them.
