I purchased this portable AC for my office after the wall-mounted AC stopped working. This unit is perfect for a medium-sized room and cools the space surprisingly fast. Assembly took less than 30 minutes, and since I have a standard-sized window, installation was straightforward. I didn’t have to cut or modify any of the window kit components. There are also plenty of helpful installation videos available online if needed. I use it almost all day, especially on very hot days when temperatures reach 90–95°F, and it performs well. It comes with both a remote control and a mobile app. I especially like the app because it makes controlling the unit very convenient and user-friendly. Two things some buyers may be concerned about are the exhaust hose and the noise level. For me, the exhaust hose is hidden behind the curtains, so it’s barely noticeable. As for the noise, it produces a consistent white noise similar to most other AC units. I don’t find it bothersome at all. ... show more

Decent air conditioner but has trouble with high heat indexes. You have to set up a drain for it if there's any high humidity at all. It will not self evaporate if it's really humid. Would probably do better in a smaller room or a room that could be closed off. For people who are super sensitive to smells, there is a slight odor. It kind of smells like air conditioning units in a hotel room. It definitely didn't bother me at all but if you're sensitive you'll notice it. It is a little noisy kind of like a heavy duty fan but I don't think it's probably any noisier than any other air conditioner. I bought this purposely for our high heat warnings in our area and it's doing okay but it's struggling to keep up with the high humidity and 100° heat index. ... show more

Easy easy setup. The window vent kit has all one would need. The kit is of good quality, including the weather stripping. The AC unit it self looks good, really works, very quiet, cooled off a large bedroom very quickly. Excellent value.

So far I’ve been very happy with this purchase, I have not got much of a chance to use it until this week now that we are under an extreme heat advisory. It is keeping 2 large size rooms cool and set up was relatively easy. If it continues to work well throughout the summer I will purchase another to replace the window unit in my living room being that I have more options on the placement of this unit.
