I recently purchased the Ranein 8kw water heater for our guest house. We are using this for a single shower and two sinks. The unit arrived quickly. It was easy to install and has a very thorough display with what seems to be high quality components. We used the template to place the mounting screws and mounted it under our kitchen sink. So far it works great, the price was excellent, the water temperature will get much hotter than we need it at this time. We did not experience any leakage after install. An interesting product. This is my first tankless water heater and it works great. Easy to wire and install. It takes a few mins to get going, about 3 mins... But once it's hot, it's HOT.

Bought this unit for a cabin at our lake property, worked great for about a month for doing dishes, after I completed the shower constructions I tried to take a shower and it quite working. Only had the unit 2 months and it quit. Tried calling the support center and sit on hold for a few min and then get a message saying all agents are busy and hangs up. Took the unit back down to see if I could trouble shoot more, still not heating up. Call again and hung up right away. Poor customer support, I would recommend not using this unit.     • Gets as hot as you want with the proper wire size. Too hot.
I already had the wire and plumbing ready. This thing works great. I set it at a low 113 degres and it is hot enough here in Hawaii. My electric bill went down over 70 dollars for 2 months straight after replacing my original 18k tankless with this one. My showers are within 15ft of pipe so I can’t really say for loss over distance on this model as my last model did not have a problem in our house hold for our 3rd bathroom shower at the time.
