    • Love this rod! 2 things I hate.
The rod is fantastic! Awesome action. Absolutely love it. I have the spinning rod also. But the biggest problem is you can only run one line on it. No tippets or leaders on braid. The eyelets are sooooooo tiny that a tippet knot grabs as it goes through. If you were only going to do a 2-3 foot leader maybe.... but if your knot is running in and out of the eyelets it casts terrible. So if you run straight mono or floro you're good. The second thing is the hook catch. It's behind the reel. It's exactly where you hold the rod with your hand or put the rod in a rod holder. It's the stupidest thing I've ever seen... so I hook my lures on the eyelet frame. Which I hate doing. But for the price.... man it's a nice rod. ... show more

First attempt at ordering the rod in May and never got delivered, 2nd attempt ordered in June 27th, never got delivered. 3rd and final time ordering the rod in June 30th got delivered on July 5th, both box and fishing rod was damaged. Cracked on the handle. What an inconvenience, Missed a few fishing trips because I could not get my rod in time. See photos ... show more

Great rod only downside is hook keeper is towards bottom of handle, so I have to hook bait on reel to fit in rod holder
