I swear I left a review already but just wanted to say that this works well. Powers the small and f big fans. Fan plugs fit and some that use the fan power for LED light up no problem. Doesn't get hot on fully power even with big fans. I thought about seeing how far I could push it with splitters but I didn't have a need to expand it more. Really only needed two fan running but went ahead and used all four. It's been compatible with all my old PC case fans so far.

This power supply works fairly well! I have four fans hooked up to it, blowing air out from the rear of a custom-3D-printed NAS I built. It's nice to be able to adjust the speed of the fans, as I want to be able to set the volume and airflow so that it's as inaudible as possible while still providing accurate cooling. This also allows me to choose exactly how much power I want just the fans to be consuming. It's fairly cheap and has pretty much only one purpose, but it serves that purpose well. It doesn't feel super durable, but it is durable enough as long as you're not planning on taking it with you everywhere. The cord is long enough for my needs, and it looks pretty nice. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to run standard PC fans independent from a system.

With PC's having air intake at the bottom, but not much space below, high RPM fans are a must. I did a build using some 3000rpm Mach140 fans and hooked them up to this bad boy. It's super easy to use, zero power draw from your PC, made of quality material and functions great! While it's a little loud when you crank them all the way, the extra power helped drop case temps by 8°. With newer hardware drawing more and more wattage, those temps creep up higher than they use to. So if you aren't running an all water cooled setup, this works nicely!

A must needed tool for DIYers working on household projects with different devices. Easier to adjust and connect and test it out. Can be used it as the standard adapter pin or can be split into the other jack which is commonly used for LED strips and your common battery connectors. Works pretty smooth. The power supply supporting 100 - 240 V expands the usage in other countries as well.

This thing is cheap in both price and construction, but it does the job. It's basically a wall wart but with a control circuit in it. It's likely a PWM signal that changes the duty cycle to make it go from 5-12 volts. To be clear, it does not do PWM signalling out for fans. This is purely a DC voltage control. That being said, this thing has way more uses than JUST fan control. The DC out is actually a barrel plug that the fan headers split from. You could easily plug a compatible barrel jack into the output and DC control an RC motor or an LED strip (12v max obviously). That makes it infinitely more useful than a permanent single wire with fan terminations. The knob has a physical disconnect when turned all the way off, so there's no voltage leakage and a nice tactile click to let you know it is off. For $14, this is totally worth it.

This is a Review of 12V PC Fan Speed Controller 3Pin/4Pin with Fan Splitter Cable AC 110V-240V to DC 5-12V Adjustable Adapter FC 36W 3A (FC-3/4P At the time of Reviewing it Price is ,14.99 With a 30% off coupon at checkout Mainly got this since i need to put some fans in my Entertainment center , since im going to be putting a HTPC in it and i dont need it cooking itself so will be adding some constant airflow to the center to keep everything happy and cool . hooked up some spare PC fans i had EK vardar 1st gen so they pull alot and blow a ton of air and with 2 of them and 2 random 140 fans i had it ran all 4 fine . Only thing to note higher power fans didnt want to spin till 50-60% of the dial turned so not sure if the low end of this controller is really working or something . but once the fans did spin i was able to lower the knob to roughly 50% and they all stayed spinning . I Do Recommend this Item

Every tech enthusiast has a drawer full of them: perfectly good, orphaned PC fans that were replaced by quieter or more colorful upgrades. This little kit is the magical adoption agency for those fans, letting you liberate them from their computer-case prisons and put them to work on all sorts of custom projects. My plan was to build a simple ventilation system for my electronics workbench, and this kit was the brilliantly simple heart of the operation. It's a complete, no-fuss package. You get the power adapter that plugs right into the wall, the control box, and even a splitter cable to run multiple fans. It works with both 3-pin and 4-pin fans, and it just... works. I plugged in a couple of old 120mm fans, turned the dial, and was rewarded with everything from a whisper-quiet breeze to a respectable whoosh. So, what's the minor quibble keeping it from a perfect five stars? The control knob, while functional, isn't perfectly linear. The first little turn gives you a significant jump in speed, making it a bit tricky to dial in a super-low, barely-spinning RPM. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but a little more precision at the low end would have been nice. Overall, this is a fantastic little problem-solver. For anyone looking to put some spare fans to work cooling an AV cabinet, a server rack, a 3D printer enclosure, or any other custom project, this is an excellent, four-star solution that I would happily recommend.

Got this to build a humidifier for a commercial mushroom grow. I like that it can accommodate multiple fans, so I could make a larger humidifier. I also like that I can set the speeds, and hook the whole thing up to an inline humidity controller to shut it off as needed. Super easy to use, plug (and plug) and play. Build quality seems pretty good, i know it's not made for high humidty environment though so some protection is necessary. Overall value is great, I'll definitely be buying again for more humidifiers.
