A true powerhouse of a battery! After replacing the standard batteries in my travel trailer twice in 4 years, I decided that my next battery purchase would be LifePo4 due to their resilience and durability. The question then became, which one to buy and what capacity. I research this sort of purchase carefully and watched a lot of YT videos before settling on the TEMGOT 300AH. The biggest challenge was making the battery fit. I have a towable travel trailer so the battery lives out on the hitch behind the propane tanks. After careful measurements, I determined that the battery would fit inside of a standard 4D battery box. To say that it’s a tight fit is very accurate, but it did fit after a little wrangling and relocating a few connections like fuses and electrical. The real advantage to shoe-horning something like this into such a limited space is the light weight! This battery is only 57lbs so it’s very easy to move and do test fitting. I’d measured several times before purchasing the battery and battery box and while it was tight, overall the install went very smoothly. Now for the real benefit to this battery install: the power! Once connected, everything worked as expected. It could be just my imagination, but all of the slides seemed to go in and out quicker and quieter. I charged the battery ahead of time as it arrived at 57% charged, so I wanted to see what the 300AH capacity really provides from a capacity standpoint. I don’t have an inverter (yet) but I turned on every single 12v power consuming thing I could think of. All of the lights, fans, refrigerator etc. Everything possible. I rolled the slides in and out multiple times. Anything to put a load on this battery just to see how long it would take to drain it. I let all of these run for over 6 hours and the display showed the battery still at 80%. The AGM batteries never seemed to take this sort of “abuse” very well, but the TEMGOT handled the load easily. All of the reviews on YT were extremely positive. I watched a tear down video where the reviewer put the battery through a torture test with a number of digital meters connected to verify that the advertised 300AH was achievable, and their specific battery actually exceeded that rating. The build quality appeared to be very good. This battery does have a built in LED display to show status of the charge, as well as cell balance, estimated runtime, etc. I downloaded the BMS app and just use that to not only track battery status but I can also completely shut down the battery using just the app. A handy feature, I think. This battery is also self heating so if you attempt to charge it in colder conditions, it will use the incoming power from the charger to energize the heating pads built into the battery. This is contingent on the connected charger is providing 10A or higher charging amperage. I highly recommend the TEMGOT 300AH Lifepo4 battery. When I compared the cost of replacing the AGM batteries and calculated the weight savings and increased runtime, the numbers literally added up. There are some incidental costs involved with switching to LifePo4 from led-acid or AGM, but the benefits make these worth the time and money.

Good quality. I have purchased five in total over the last 15 months. I’m surprised how well they keep a charge when not being used for extended times. Purchased as a battery bank for solar generators. Cheaper than buying companion batteries. The display screen and heaters are excellent. I did stray and bought another brand that was cheaper. I regretted that decision. You get what you pay for. I do recommend these.

I updated my old lead acid RV battery with this 300Ah unit, and it's awesome. My converter already had an option for LiFePO4 charging (4.6 V if I'm not mistaken, which is in the range of this unit). On a recent 5 night/6 day off grid trip, I used this the entire time running lights, fans, even the furnace at times (propane, but uses the fan quite a bit) and although I had the ability to charge it, I wanted to see how long I could go. By the last day I was only down to just above 50% remaining, which was amazing. On my old lead acid, I was having to charge up the batteries every day (a pair of 6V 200Ah in series). The bluetooth feature is cool... monitoring the state of charge, seeing how much power was being used by the lights/fans/whatever as I turned things on or off. It also has a pretty good range... it's inside the RV (something I couldn't do with lead acid) and I was still able to reach it via bluetooth from outside for a pretty good distance which was cool. Not that I normally would, but nice to know I can. I didn't put too much load on at once... the slide out is probably the highest current draw, and it handled it fine. Much better than the lead acid which, I think, had some voltage drop under the 30A or so load from that. This battery is listed as 100A continuous, but my RV load center is rated at 60A (and fused as such) so I'm fine. If you were looking at doing some type of inverter setup, just keep that 100A in mind since that'll limit your continuous power output.

I purchased two of these for use in my Winnebago camper. They replaced some older AGM batteries. They are huge step up providing two the capacity at a fraction of the weight of the older batteries. I tested both batteries with a full charge/discharge and found they had the rated capacity (I didn't do a full discharge). The app (I use an iPhone) works great and makes it easy to monitor the batteries. Since I charge them with solar and they out in the cold, the self-heating feature was critical so I could safely change them. My only quibble is that the SOC reported can be off a bit.

Powerhouse Battery — Worth Every Penny This thing is a beast. I’ve been using it to power my setup for gold prospecting trips, and it runs my 4700 GPH bilge pump all day with no problem. Holds a charge like a champ, and I’ve been impressed with how consistent the output is. The build feels solid, terminals are clean, and the display is a nice touch for keeping an eye on things. If you need serious power that won’t let you down in the field, this battery delivers.

Been using this in my 42’ 5th wheel camper to replace my stock lead acid battery. So far it’s been great and the blue tooth connectivity has been nice to check charge etc. it easily handles all my 12 volt dc load and really operates my high draw landing gear for my auto level much better than the stock lead acid battery. I look forward to the self heating for cold climate in spring and fall. Overall I am very happy with it. I came from 3 Battle Born 100 amp hour battery’s in my last camper and felt this was a far better value for the money and I get an additional 100 amp hours of capacity.

The first battery I received came with a 54% charge so I slow charged it at 100 watts for several hours to get it to a full charge. The built-in display on top of the battery is a game changer, big and bright, however after the battery had attained a full charge the display shut off as it is designed to do but never came back on even after cycling the onboard power button. The whole reason I bought this battery was for the built-in display to check quickly without connecting a multimeter. The battery performed perfectly and with the bluetooth phone app I was able to monitor the charge/discharge status easily. But I paid a little extra for the built-in LCD display and it wasn't working anymore. After some back and forth and photos and videos they agreed to send a replacement battery. They emailed a preprinted and prepaid shipping label to return via FedEx but unfortunately my local FedEx store did not accept LiFePo4 batteries so I had to travel 30 minutes to their closest warehouse/shipping center to return the battery, a bit of a hassle. Approximately one week later I received the new battery and it again had a 54% charge so I charged it the same as before at 100 watts to get to a full charge. The display appears to be working okay. I went ahead and installed it in my travel trailer and it fit in the battery box with a little room to spare as it is sized as a type 24 battery just like the lead acid battery it replaced. I changed the solar charge controller to a LiFePo4 setting and the camper is new enough that the onboard charge controller will automatically adjust for different type batteries while connected to shore power. So far so good though I will check on it in a week or so to make sure it is still operating properly. I did notice the LED lights were a bit brighter and the slide motors had a little more gusto with the LiFePo4 battery, bonus! This battery does have low temperature protection that won't charge the battery until the built-in heating mat has warmed the cells to approximately 10C/50F which should protect it from being charged from frozen which will destroy the battery. I took one star off due to the manufacturing defect and I will update again if there are any more problems.
