I more then like this battery . Customer service bent over backwards to help me set up an older mppt charge controller. Finely got some sun to test everything and I'm very happy with the way the battery preforms. This system has continuous load 24/7 and the 300amp battery has not failed in the middle of the night yet. We are in low light season so if it works now I have no worries as the sun light will get longer. The lifepo4 battery seem to charge quicker then lead acid which means I can charge more batteries with the same wattage solar panels. I have included the settings for the mppt charge controllers. One thing , lifepo4 batteries don't need a float or equalization charge. Unlike lead acid that need a trickle charge to stay topped off once a lifepo4 battery is charged, that's it , done. It could sit for a year and still be charged. If you can't stop the EQ or float set them to 13.8 Set the absorption or boost charge 13.8 for 120 minutes. This company seems to really care about their product so the true test is going to be time.

Upgraded from a 100 ah to 300 ah. Needed the cold temp protection but didn't want a self heating one. This was hard to find and was a great price. Has actually come down with a $50 Amazon coupon since I bought it a couple of months ago. Now$849.99 for a 300 ah battery with cold temp protection???? How can you not. Buy this thing? So far has been working flawlessly. Have it hooked up to a 3000 watt inverter charger and my wife runs her 1800 watt hair dryer with it no problem. Not sure how the cold protection will work. Will have to wait until winter to see.

Early days but the 300ah without self heating appears to be a good choice for warmer climates where cold battery temps aren’t an issue. However, note the size is a bit irregular. Not exactly group 31 or group 27 so it was difficult to find a battery tray or box that fit. But I did find that the NOCO BG27 battery box fits perfectly.

There is a -1.8 to -2.6 drain on the battery at night. Probably feeding the BMS but not sure.

No issues with holding a charge when stored. Store in my garage that doesn’t get too hot. Charge is still maintained weeks later when plugged back in to the solar panels
