tldr; mine tested at 24ah with a robust bms Most batteries I review don't live up to their claims. Whether it is a non-existent or poorly implemented bms or highly inflated mah/ah claims. Every now and then a manufacturer surprises me, and that is definitely the case with this battery. Battery arrived well packaged but with the manufacturers seal/sticker broken. there was no sign that it had been used, screw terminals were pristine, etc. I charged it constant current at 10a until it reached 14.4v and then switched to constant voltage. First sign of a good bms, once this battery charged to the .05c saturation point, it cut off the charge completely. What this means for field use is that you can easily just use a buck or boost converter set to 14.4-14.6v and not have to worry about a dedicated lifepo4 charger, the bms does it's job properly and will cut the charge when the battery is full. Now my plans for this battery don't have it exceeding a 5a / 60w load or so. For a discharge test I ran the load tester at 22a (1c) for a bit, rest for 5 mins, 11a (0.5c) for a bit, rest for 2 mins, then 5.5a (0.25c) until it hit 10v or cut off on its own. The result is in the pics, my 22ah battery is a 24ah battery. First time I ever had a battery with understated capacity. List of tests run and results: Short circuit test: passed, output cut off and reset when disconnected Reverse polarity test: passed, output cut off and reset when disconnected Charge test: handled 10a charge, stopped itself when full Discharge test: explained above, passed, 24ah rounded capacity, tested capacity 23.8ah

Light-weight, easy to transport, with a simple block shape, this battery has been a perfect companion for my remote amateur radio work providing steady, reliable power. No problem with transmitting at 100 watts either--the 25A BMS allows for plenty of amps to pass through to make full use of my radio. Easily charges up on my LiFePO4 charger, and the 22Ah lasts a long time. I'm in no fear of running out of power in the field. It's worth noting that the blocky shape has functionality. This tall, rectangular build makes it easier to push into a corner of a box or a backpack than the rounded LiFePO4 battery I'd been using before. And even though this doesn't have a handle, it's light enough and thin enough it's easy to just grab and pick up. On the other hand, it's interesting how it looks more like a car battery than the friendly orange-colored LiFePO4 battery I usually take in the field, with it's solid shape and black walls. This is a much more hidden and stark-looking battery, so it won't win any beauty awards, but it works great.

The ZapLitho LiFePO4 battery with built-in battery management system was delivered on-time, well-packaged, as described by the seller and charged at 13.14 V, ready for use. There is a QR code label affixed to the battery; this provides a link to a manual with support and operation information. One of my hobbies is restful bass fishing from a canoe on a fresh-water lake near my home. I use an electric trolling motor to get around the lake and LiFePO4 battery technology is ideal for this due to being lightweight, compact and supporting numerous charging cycles with (in theory) little degradation. I have purchased a few such batteries with 50 Ah and 100Ah capacity from different manufacturers and with varied results. I have had batteries fail when I am at the most distant part of the lake and then had to paddle back under adverse conditions. I shall use this ZapLitho 22 Ah as a back-up in case of failure of the 100 Ah primary battery. I estimate it will give me over 30 minutes at medium speed which is enough to return to base. So far this ZapLitho battery is performing as expected; I hope it continues to do so.

This is a great battery. I'm impressed every time I get one of these Lifepo4 batteries as they are very powerful for the size and weight of the battery. It charges quickly and if you have the dedicated po4 charger, then you don't have to worry about charging or maintenance. I was able to charge it to the advertised voltage and it provided the proper output. The uses for these batteries is so vast, I love them!!

I tested this with a fixed load and ended up at approximately 23AH at the end, so advertised capacity seems accurate. BMS cut off the supply once voltage dropped so it's convenient to not have to worry about over-discharging the battery. Likewise it cuts off charging when complete. The max load I tested was about 15a, so not near the BMS limit but it did perfectly fine. Dimensions listed are accurate and the threaded terminals worked great for installation. Overall it seems to be a good battery but we'll need to see how it performs over the next couple years to say for sure.

The Zaplitho 22AH LIFePO4 lithium battery appears to be made of quality cells and is very competitively priced. This standard ( 7.1 X 3 X 7H " ) size battery has an overall capability of 281.6 W. With the enclosed BMS, you get overcharge, over discharge, over current, short and high temperature protection ! During the initial testing, this battery was fully charged and discharged 3 times, and each time its discharge performance exceeded it 22AH rating. The last test cycle was at 0.5C and it performed very well without overheating ! Although the real test is over Time,, the price/performance of this battery is very good for its selling price !
