4 star is for careless shipping & missing screws. Product seems OK so far. Ordered 4 pieces of the 20 AH battery. Individual boxes were fine, but all 4 were shipped knocking around in a single much larger box with no internal padding. One battery was MISSING the envelope with instructions/specifications and two required M5 screws. If your local HW store doesn't carry M5 screws of right length this could be a problem. If you got the single battery missing the specs + screws you would need to guess. I carefully followed manufacturer's instructions to charge individually, then hook in parallel for a day before setting up in a 48V series UPS set-up. I have run a couple cycles down to ~50% and they seem well balanced and to charge back evenly. I'll update this review after a few more cycles. So far so good.

Hi So, one of the most basic questions about any of these batteries is: does it do what they say? I bought two of them and charged them both up overnight. They most certainly had full charge for the test. None of these batteries are shipped fully charged. There seem to be rules that forbid doing that .... I set up one of the Amazon capacity testers and tested each of them. I used a discharge rate of 5A (so maybe a bit high ...) and a cutoff voltage of 10.5V (who knows there ....). The setup included a fuse. The 10.5 at the tester was closer to 10.635 at the battery. One battery came out at 20.4 AH. The other one came out at 20.6 AH. Based on the number of reviews on other batteries where folks are happy if a 20 AH battery gets to 15 AH ... wow !!!!. Seems like a fine battery. When I bought it (Prime days deals ....) it was one of the cheapest options. Bob

It did not come with a terminal nut, what kind of battery comes with no terminal nut, had no way to attaching anything to the battery.

Seem to make great batteries I have 2 of the 100ah batteries. This one is going in a kayak for fish finder. Seems well made and the company responded and is sending out screws for the terminal which is great.

I put a couple of these batteries in an APC Smart UPS 1500. I initially charged them up but one of them wasn't balanced. After days of testing I finally got them equalized with my Lifepo4 charger, and the UPS seems to charge them fine. The fit on these is really tight in the UPS compared to the original lead acid battery pack. It is very difficult to get them out of the UPS. They seem to perform decent though, and give me a couple hours of runtime at 27%. The load is my internet router and some pet lights, and a couple heaters for the wifes reptiles.
