I had been using a gas engine for my dinghy and decided that I needed to move to electric. As the battery would be sitting in my dinghy for the entire summer, I had to worry about rain filling the dinghy and compromising the battery. This Mars Energy lithium battery ticks all the boxes. It holds a long charge and can fulfill my electric needs for the summer. It is lighter than other batteries that I looked at. It is water-resistant to a depth of 3', so the concern of water in the dinghy is not an issue. The battery has a slightly smaller footprint, making it easier to fit in a battery box where I can provide an "ignition" style lock when I am away from the boat. Just an overall great battery for marine use.

I had an AGM house battery on my boat go bad, so I replaced it with this lithium battery. It’s much lighter than the AGM which made it easier to install and so far it seems to be working great! It’s been on my boat for several months now, time will tell if it outlasts the life of the previous AGM battery.

Amazing battery for the price and it last longer than my old AGM battery. I use it for trolling on a 55lb thrust trolling motor. So far it works good.. however I suggest putting it on the charger atleast 2 days before you plan on going. Seems like it takes awhile to recharge

I purchased a Newport trolling motor. The person who did a YouTube review of the motor suggested a new style lithium battery. This came up as an option that was available immediately while another brand was on unspecified back-order. I am very impressed with how light this battery is. Only 21 lbs. which means my wife can carry it very easily while going out on the boat. I had my first opportunity to use it last week. I only put about 3 hours total on the battery, but my digital meter showed a .01 volt drop after that much use. I trickle charged it back to 12.88 volts, and I expect it will provide hours of use without need of a recharge. Battery life is always a consideration when all you have is an electric motor. The case is plastic, so it should hold up very well. The battery comes with two standard screws that make it easy to connect. I highly recommend this battery as an option for any time a 12 volt battery is required.

Purchased mid January. So far so good. Lithium batteries are safer inside a home in that they don’t release gases while charging. I initially charged with a lithium battery charger that plugs into an outlet. Then my solar panels maintain the charge depending on how much voltage is pulling from it. As best I can tell, it would keep my full-size fridge, a few lamps (led bulbs), tv, internet modem for a few days. Anything involving heating elements will drain the battery much faster. App to show charging status could be improved but does provide basic info. I would recommend.
