At $189 each this was a no brainer!! Went from 300 lbs of battery to roughly 66 pounds plus it was actually cheaper to go lifepo4 vs lead acid (3 batteries vs buying 6 6v batteries) More speed due to higher voltage (42v) and less weight, can go farther distance, and will never have to replace these batteries.. at least not in my lifetime.. conversion is simple just make sure you put 3 in series for a 36v GC, and 4 in series for a 48v GC. Upgrade your charger to a lifepo4 charger (all over Amazon for $, $$, $$$) I did a 30 amp onboard charger and love it dead to fully charged in a little over 3 hours! One last note 1 of my batteries got lost in shipping.. reached out to seller they verified, and shipped a new battery out the next day! ... show more

I am an artist. My wife and I do art festivals all around the country. Until now we had always relied on lead acid. But the prices have really dropped and now these are finally affordable. Our old batteries were pushed to last two days at an art festival illuminating our work. They weighed 70+ lbs. each and back breaking getting them in and out of the truck. This battery has taken the place of 2 lead acid batteries. And only 28 lbs.!! We will see how long they last in the long run. I installed two of these on my bowfishing boat. One runs my trolling motor and one runs by lights. I have 6 30w LEDs and 2 50W LEDs running on one of these battery’s. I will get 4.5 hours out of a fully charged battery. The other thing that is absolutely mind blowing is when you pick up one of these batteries compared to an old agm battery. The battery doesn't produce the 100 hours amp charge as stated in the description. It only provides input between 82% - 84% and it doesn't keep a strong charger. I connected it to my Jackery and still only gives 84% input charge. Connected it to my portable fridge and only 82% input. Not happy, wasted my money! I tried to send back cost me $40 to return. The battery appears to be well made. I bought for a trolling motor. I have not used it for that yet due to being wintertime. I did go through the break in process of fully charging it and running it down and then recharging it. I hooked it to a 12-volt automotive fan, and it ran for 1.5 hours constant. It recharged in about 1.5 hours. So far, I am very pleased with the battery. I will update in spring when I have a chance to use it with my trolling motor. The battery is light weight and will be much easier for me remove from the boat for recharge verses an equivalent lead acid battery. This was one of the features I was interested in.
