Great deal on this two pack! I chose these thanks to another review because they fit the deep dish pyrex pie plates w/the handles on the side! We've used them several times for not just pies and I like their low profile and handles. If you're putting a pie in a glass dish inside, make sure you have the lid snapped on correctly (the little tabs go where the little slots are) otherwise the lid will pop off. ... show more

These food fresh plastic keepers are quite well designed, as the lid snaps on and locks in place. The carry handle is a well thought out feature too. I like these for storing the large tortilla flour shells, and the containers do a fabulous job of keeping them fresh. They seem well made? These carriers are a good size, and I like that they are clear. They're also easy to wash. I definitely do not recommend carrying them by their handle, though, as the grip between the lid and the base is limited and not reliable.

I particularly liked the flexibile “bottom” feature. We took pumpkin pies on a five hour drive for Thanksgiving and not even a tiny bit of crust was damaged in transit. The pies looked perfect upon arrival. Taking the “bottom” insert out to accommodate the apple pie’s greater height worked too.
