The lift is well built and comparable to the name brand lift of same type. It remains stable when in use, and the brake is a great feature. (Name brand lift I have used previously does not have a brake) I also found that it can be disassembled partially, and fits in a truck bed with the bed cover able to close. The crate it was delivered in was sturdy enough, and made of thin plywood. Unboxing was easy and instructions were strait forward.
