Style & Fit The "Matte Leopard" finish is subtle and sophisticated, avoiding that "cheap plastic" look often found in budget eyewear. The contoured pillow-eye shape is timeless, and the double-rivet details on the temples add a nice touch of rugged elegance. Regarding the fit, the S3089 is perfect for those with medium to large face shapes. I have a higher nose bridge, and these sit perfectly without sliding down. These are very good wrap around sun glasses that are perfect for all day outdoor activities. I spend about 7+ hours outdoors for most of the week for work and these have really helped me protect my eyes from the sun while looking like an expensive pair of designer glasses. They come with a nice carry case as well, it helps keep the lenses scratch free and the frames protected when storing them or carrying them around. They are very comfortable as they are solid nylon material. They fit very nicely, wrap around the eyes to keep any light bleeding from coming through for the most part. These are rated UV 400+ and you can notice the difference from other casual sunglasses. These are not meant to be worn when you are driving but rather outside walking, working, or fishing. Most areas that have a high sun reflection/surfaces, these are the ones to wear. They've been very durable so far, and easy to clean. I'm looking forward to using them often this summer season. These are a great pair of sport polarized sunglasses at a great price. I have used lots of different types of sunglasses at all price ranges, and these factor in on the cheap side but look, feel, and perform just as good as ones that cost hundreds of dollars. The lens quality was much more than I expected at this price range. There is little to no glare, and they do not really smudge. I believe the protection is really good. I have used them on long drives and outdoors for hours at a time with no eye strain. The build quality is surprisingly great too. They are really made well with actual metal hinges. They stay perfectly on my face with good comfort around the ears, nose bridge, and snugness. They stay in place well during regular everyday use. It comes with a nice case too that is great for traveling. I can honestly say I love these glasses. These are a great buy and I would definitely recommend them. ... show more

I normally shop for sunglasses in person so I can check their fit so I was leery about ordering the Merry's online. The Amazon ad lists the dimensions if you look carefully but I find it difficult to translate that into "how they fit". Regardless, I ordered the S3089 model with G15 lens (which aren't so dark) in a black frame. These are supposed to fit an average face and guess what... I must have an average face. They fit fine as they don't slide down my nose and the leg length keeps them pulled into place. The Amazon ad does a very good job of describing all the dimensions and materials of the sunglasses and are listed further in the ad under "Product description". For example, the lens are made with CR-39 (Columbia Resin #39) which is known for exceptional optical clarity and is better than polycarbonate (but not as good for impact resistance). The frames use TR90 which is better than pure nylon or cheaper plastic. The hinge is attached with double rivets and the legs stay open when putting them on. I've used them several days and they work better than any other sunglasses I've owned. The optics are very good. I never heard of Merry's but I checked out their line of eyewear and they have a huge selection and are known for good value. The pair I ordered seems to be top-tier and come with a hard-sided case and cleaning cloth. I'm happy with these glasses and I think you will be too. I usually stick with aviator-style sunglasses, but these wraparound polarized sunglasses from Merry's have really impressed me. The fit is exactly as described online, and the quality of both the frames and lenses is outstanding for the price. One thing I really appreciate about Merry's is that they don't seem to cut corners when it comes to making affordable sunglasses. The polarization is excellent, the frames are lightweight and comfortable, and they do a great job reducing glare in bright, sunny conditions. I use these regularly while driving and out on the boat, and they've performed exceptionally well in both situations.
