This is a well constructed full featured medium duty welder that has performed quite well for me on repairs up to 6 gauge steel. The inverter system on the machine is highly efficient and i am pleased with the technology that allows a smooth arc starting process and very little hang-ups as the welding process commences. I have been happy with the way this box burns small rods and the level of control with the machine has been pleasant in all applications up to this point.

I was surprised by how small this welder is, but it works just fine. It isn't fancy, but will do small welding jobs. It is easy to set up and use. Although it is portable, it isn't something I would drag around my farm. It will be useful around the shop and home. It seems well built.

This stick welder is pretty great. It arrives in a branded cardboard box with the welder, manual, negative clamp, positive holder, brush, handle, small holster, and a stick. This unit is very plain and basic but that also makes it good at doing just stick welding, which I personally prefer. It does say that it is capable of doing lift TIG as well but I don't have TIG to try that out. The knob is easy to adjust the amps as you can see on the LCD screen to the left of the knob. Once you have it dialed in, it's as good as any other stick welder and I haven't had any issues with it at all while welding mild steel and iron. Overall, great stick welder with no issues that I have found once you get it dialed in for whatever you are welding.

I'm not a very good welder, but have been learning. I'm hoping having this welder at home can give me more practice time. Setup is easy and it includes everything needed to run it other than the safety equipment (most importantly the mask, gloves, apron, etc) and actual material to weld. It's not very strong, but good enough for my practicing and it is capable of welding steel scrap. I did have to search and made sure that the outlet it's on is rated 25A or more, but it runs quite well on 120AC. It's not as high power and professional as the welders I learned and practiced on, but it works and gives me more practice time.
