I am 50 now and far passed the phase of dropping thousands on car audio, been there done that. 2 systems stolen and one blown. However I still like to bump a little and jam out to loud music. This fits that bill. Inexpensive, decent quality, Just enough. Install was fairly easy. I have mine underneath the passenger seat in a chevy silvardo. The blue light on the floor board is cool and not so bright that it's annoying just a nice ambient dark blue glow, mind you a seat covers it. Thinking about getting another for the driver side. I upgraded the factory door speakers. I now have a nice little sound system for less than 200.00. The sub packs a pretty decent punch honestly way more decent than my expectations. I am pleased and would recommend. Can't speak on durability yet. ... show more

    • Surprisingly easy install and great sound!
I was a little skeptical at first and wasn't expecting much. This thing is solid though. Installed in my 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Installation was actually not as hard as I thought it would be, and it came with a complete wiring kit which was even better. I've never done something like this and I was done in about 2 1/2 hours. From what I could tell, it's a pretty standard installation, but you will need a few tools most of which I'd bet you already have if you're thinking of doing this yourself: wrenches for disconnecting the battery, maybe some screw drivers, some pry tools if you want to hide the wires behind trim, and a wire crimper which is $10 if you just want a cheap one to get this job done. Honestly, channel locks will get the job done, but a proper crimper will do it right. Also, grab a fuse tap appropriate for your interior fuse box as well as a 5A fuse. These will be used for remote power signal to turn the amp on and off with the car. Most auto parts stores will carry these or you can get them on Amazon. Make your power cable (ring on battery end, add included fuse within 18" of the battery), run the wire through a grommet in the firewall, connect it to the amp. Add a less than 18" ground wire from the amp to a bolt. Add your remote wire. Then there's the matter of connecting it to a source. If your head supports RCA output, connect to that. If not, you will have to find another source. For me, it was connecting to the left rear speaker wire, but doing it under the driver side kick panel next to the left foot (easiest place to access in my truck). I recommend using posi-taps if you're going this route. Less destructive to the factory wiring and gets a perfectly good signal for the sub. Once you're hooked up, tune the gain, bass, and crossover to your needs. It's really that simple if you do your research into your vehicle before beginning. I'm really pleased with the bass quality so far. I'm into a lot of different music genres and this has handled them all great. It’s ok, love the lighting in the car but wouldn’t buy again. The speaker has a lingering sound while on. It’s kind of bothersome. I wouldn’t buy again

    • Speaker broke after only having it for 7 months
Very disappointed with this item, purchased it for my husband and it broke and we couldn’t use the warranty we purchased for a replacement because they said the speaker was still under the manufacturers warranty and I needed to contact them or Amazon. After I contacted Amazon they said I could get a full refund but they couldn’t replace the speaker because it was outside of the return window. I explained to them that we’re only returning the speaker because it was damaged but we’d like to replace it, they said it didn’t matter and they charged us an $18.00 restocking fee for a broken speaker. Not happy at all about being charged for a damaged speaker. This might be minor to some people, but I don’t have money to throw away. ... show more

It's okay, the wiring is sketchy at best.. it's way to small and cheap to be safe for use. Replace the included wiring with quality stuff and you be fine

I love this thing. My Jeep had a decent stereo but not enough bass. This filled the void nicely. The sound is awesome and never sounds distorted. Highly recommended!

    • Worse Than Underwhelming
simply 1) the subwoofer knob that goes in the cabin is plastic with small circuit board it will break 2) it adds deep notes there’s no real bass, don’t expect to rattle your trunk 3) that light is something i’d say takes away from functionality, but hey if you’re looking for a LED speaker dollar general has better options 4) you get what you pay for All in all, this would have to be a no for me. I’m no car guru so the install wasn’t awful but by the time your done ; there is now “wow” moment. surprisingly i see why they someone would purchase it. just not my cup of tea. ... show more
