These units are great, the compressor has a mini flash tank to prevent liquid refrigerant entering the suction port thats a nice touch, I use to purchase the high price name brand units but for half the price of a PCB board from Daiken or Mitsubishi you can just buy one of these and have a brand new unit. With proper install there is no reason you shouldnt get 3-5 years of life maybe more. Couple tips for longevity give the indoor unit z slight tilt towards the drain, use proper gland fittings for the electrical on the outdoor unit to keep moisture out and put into a long deep vacuum before realeasing the refrigerant ... show more

I was hesitant to spend the money on a mini split, but I’m so glad I did. We have an open-plan living space (about 700 sq ft) and this 12000 BTU unit handles it with ease. The ECO Mode is great for daytime use, but the Sleep Mode is what truly sold me. The way it gradually adjusts the temperature throughout the night is just perfect—no more waking up freezing at 3 AM. Regarding installation: Listen to the seller's note. Yes, the packages ship separately. The indoor unit arrived two days before the outdoor unit. Don't freak out like I did! Because the kit includes the 9.8 ft copper piping, I didn't have to go buy extra parts, which saved me a trip. And it’s so quiet that I honestly forget it’s running. We used to use a portable AC that sounded like a freight train; this is a massive upgrade and looks sleek on the wall too. ... show more

Installed, and compressor bad. Installed professionally and tested. No way to get in touch with company other than Amazon AI chat which was useless. Very unhappy with the lack of ways to get support- just need a new outdoor unit. Wouldn’t buy and do not recommend simply due to no clear path of communication with the manufacturer or unit seller. Wall fan works great but need more than a fan!!! Instructions for install were not too great either. Rating is zero stars but AMZ requires at least one to post ... show more

It does a great job keeping the immediate living area cold but even with a ceiling fan it doesn’t travel to other rooms as I was hoping it would. I would have never bought this if they listed it as not pre charged with refrigerant. What’s the point of DIY or getting a deal if you have to add refrigerant. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
