This portable AC works great! I got it because, even though we have central AC, our bedroom is always hotter than the rest of the house. So, my husband and I always had to leave our AC on really cold all night because we're both hot sleepers. Now that we've been using this, we only have to keep this portable AC on at night in our bedroom and can turn off the central AC. Having this has already saved us money on our electric bill!! I recently purchased the Coolblus Portable Window AC unit, and it has exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. From delivery to setup, the process was seamless. The unit arrived upright, as recommended for immediate installation, and the packaging ensured it was in pristine condition. Installation: The setup process was straightforward, thanks to the included Quick Start Guide and detailed Instruction Manual. After measuring my 35-inch horizontal window opening, I followed the guide's suggestion and trimmed 2 inches off sliding panel B for a perfect fit—this allowed the exhaust opening on panel A to align correctly. I appreciated the thoughtful design of the T-bolt and wing nut lock system, which securely connects the panels. To ensure an airtight fit, I added thin foam insulation strips (not included) to eliminate any gaps—a small enhancement I highly recommend. Connecting the exhaust duct was simple and hassle-free. Attaching the hose to both the unit and the window panels was intuitive, and once the window sash was lowered, my setup felt solid and secure. Performance: This unit comes with three functions: Cool, Dry, and Fan. I primarily use the cooling mode to combat the intense Texas summer heat in my upstairs 200-square-foot room. Setting it to 70°F quickly delivered powerful cooling performance. Both the top control panel and remote are easy to use, and the functionality is straightforward. Noise levels are typical for portable ACs—not disruptive but noticeable, especially at the high fan setting. The front louvers offer flexibility for directing airflow, and the recessed lift handles make the unit easy to reposition if needed. Verdict: The Coolblus AC unit combines thoughtful design, user-friendly installation, and reliable (so far) cooling performance. The media could not be loaded. Packaging is great. Comes upright and easy assembly. My husband had to cut a piece for the window but just because it was a little big. We use it in our main room. I had a madea window unit before, which we did not like. This portable unit fits in the window with no other padding needing around the edge. The accordion piece that delivers hot air outside is long. I have a little empty gallon connected to the back for the water drainage. I empty it every 3 days. Depends how much you use the ac really. The only complaint is the noise level. It is loud when it kicks in. My husband snores so we are used to loud noises. Lol. It makes the room really cold. So the noise isn't enought to bother us to return it. We use it as white noise. The remote works fine as well. Simple buttons. Hasn't really raised our electricity bill. This room has big windows and gets hot quicker. So we keep the main ac at 76 or 75. And I keep this one at 76 when we leave and 70- 72 when we take a nap. ... show more

Unit was simple to set up and had easy to follow instructions. Quick to reposition on built in casters, exhaust fits multiple windows in my home, and looks quite sleek. The remote is line of sight only but duplicates all the functions. High volume of air is produced, and it rapidly cooled our guest room (14x13ft). It is fairly noisy but not excessively and is perfect for white noise while we sleep.
