Great price. Super easy install. Its early, but so far the unit has performed well. Have a room added on a while back and it has never quite kept up with the comfort of the rest of the house (central air). So, I decided to install a mini-split to solve the problem. Critical part is the flared connections. Get that part correct and you will be golden. If you are not familiar with the install process, watch YouTube videos to learn how to pull a vacuum. I did not do a nitrogen pressure test. Instead, I released the refrigerant for 5ish seconds after the vacuum test (1-2 hours set time) to pressurize the system and again let it set for an hour to verify no leaks (along with spraying the connections with disk soap). I invested in all the tools instead of renting because I plan on another install on down the road. There are many videos that show people using a torque wrench while others do not. I personally decided to buy a digital one and it worked just fine. One other bonus is being able to control the unit on my iPhone. These units are highly efficient as you don't lose energy through traditional duct work. Good luck !!!

DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased the 12000 BTU unit for an amazing price. Two months after the Amazon return period, I was no longer getting hear and air. I had to deal directly with Garvee CS. This was a brutal experience! Although pleasant enough, they kept asking repetitive questions about what I had done to isolate the issue. Low freon, bad compressor, or bad board. After two months of correspondence they finally directed me to get a technician. I did. Now the company refuses to reimburse me even though the technician identified a manufacturer defect with the evaporative coils - it was slowly leaking freon. Garvee only wants to pay was willing to send another unit, but they will only reimburse me $100 toward the technician via PayPal in spite of the fact that I now have to remove the old unit, dispose of it correctly, and reinstall a new one. Amazon stepped up in a big way and reimbursed me for the unit. Now I have to continue my fight with Garvee for the $235. Is that all there honor is worth? Stay clear and go with a more reputable seller. I hope Amazon drops them.

Replacing former Pioneer 9000BTU unit in kitchen that is passed 7 years. There was big noise from Pioneer outside unit and their customer service asked me $300 for part only, and I decide to change it. As of today Garvee ductless is fantastic. It consumes fantastic less energy and has sleek and solid design at affordable price. I checked energy consumption with ampere meters and it reduces dramatically energy consumption. Once it reach desirable temp it stop working and no energy consumption. Pioneer system air blow was so terrible and weak.. but Garvee air blow is so strong and reach almost almost 7-8m with heat wind. Its customer center (i think it is located in China) feedback is fast and reasonable and so helpful. I recommend this system and even I bought it again for my bedroom. Update I bought Garvee one more time for my bedroom and it works very well too. Interesting thing is I compared power consumption with 24seer Costway.. as of today there is very interesting result.. Garvee ducltess cosumes 30% less than Costway 24 seer system. Overall I used to use Pioneer, Costway and Garvee.. Garvee is the best.

These work great! I ordered two, one of the ones I got was low on Freon which is why it’s got the 4 star review - otherwise it would get a 5. I’m sure the one was probably just bad out of the bunch and I happened to get it. Other than that, these split units are amazing! I’ve had name brand LG split units before and these blow those out of the water!! Plus this price can’t be beat!! Incredible value! The noise level is non existent, I barely can tell it’s even on because of how quiet it is! Even the part that sits outside, it’s soooo quiet you can’t hear it. Keeps the house so comfortable, and it’s so easy to use! The installation was pretty easy! I definitely recommend getting this if you’re debating between a few - this is the route to go. I highly depend on reviews for my purchases which is why I felt I needed to make one incase somebody else is contemplating and same way. This is the route to go.!

it seems exactly the same as several other brands i've bought over the last few years. every detail is the same except the remote controls are slightly different and for some reason this one didn't have a remote holder. my guess is one factory in china makes all of them and different companies but their name on it. but it seems to work fine and is super quiet. would buy again.

Installation was straightforward and exactly the same as other mini-split units of this type. It easily integrates with Home Assistant via HACS (AUX Cloud), no longer requiring the AC Freedom app once it has been placed on your local network. It can keep a 12'x12' room uncomfortably cold while only consuming about 300W on medium fan speed. Excellent value for $450.

*update* Garvee has now determined the wrong model was shipped. So its Amazon's problem - and past the return window. Amazon still will let me return it... if I rip it out and ship it back. I paid for a 24 seer2 but got a 22seer2 that wont work in as low of temperatures outside. WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS TERRIBLE. QA and Customer service are zero stars. Unit itself would get a few stars, but I would NEVER buy from Garvee again. Issue #1 - they claimed the service port was 1/4" SAE, "possibly" left hand thread. After multiple trips to the supply house, figured out it is 5/16". Issue #2 - the outdoor unit shipped without a grill on the side that protects the fins. It's been back & forth constantly. First they want pictures, then videos. Then they email a manual with "highlighted parts page" they want me to circle the part. There is no highlights OR parts listed. Then they claim it is designed to not have one. I argue thats ridiculous and reviews all show them and there are holes on the unit to mount a grill. They claim they need more pictures. They are always sorry and will resolve it quickly, only to email and ask for more things. They are trying to argue until I give up. For a reputable company, this would be one call or email and it would be shipped.
