This is the second product I have acquired from this manufacturer and once again I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of design, engineering and quality construction and materials... This dehumidifier is not a cheap rattle trap toy... I'm using it in an RV to decrease damaging condensation during winter months... It has performed better than expected and draws an easy liter of water per 24 hours when I have 2 people and 2 dogs on board... It is surprisingly quite even on high mode and almost silent on low mode... What you do hear is a very soft white noise like sound on high... as others describe it does generate some heat... Given I use it to stop winter condensation on my walls and windows the small amount of dry warm heat is nice and means I run the heater less... ( Not sure if it would be an issue in the tropics but it's nice for winter environments.... ) Besides the undeniable quality in build this thing really draws alot of water in a day... The space now is much more comfortable and my condensation is decreased 95%...game changer for sure ! No issues with leaking, it's light weight, nice handle and it comes with an optional drain hose.... If I have issues going forward I will update this review... I can't find one negative thing to share... Exceeded all my expectations... ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It works well for its size. This one is quiet with no compressor. It will drop the humidity in the room down below 30% if I have it run 24/7. Pros: - Decent room dehumidifier - easy to use, only 3 buttons - Quiet running - run timer - ability to drain into a larger bucket (I personally use a 1 gallon water bottle) - space heater for the winter months Cons: - can warm up a room if it’s small enough - a bit power hungry, costs myself about $30 a month to run. - it always beeps when you press a button, so don’t change it while your partner is asleep! - beeps once when full. Does an incredible job of removing moisture from our motorhome. Easily pulls 10-20 times more water out of the air than our previous peltier unit. Humidity in motorhome now 30-50% instead of 65-90%. Ran drain line out through the slide out and no need to empty tank daily. Only issue could be the heat generated by this thing, but right now it’s not a problem here in central Florida, Keeps it cozy warm on cool nights. ... show more

I live in a humid area and have used several types of dehumidifiers in my house over the years ranging from the big 50 pint per day machines to the small semiconductor style machines. They each have their use depending on what type of space you’re trying to dehumidify. The big compressor-style ones are good for dehumidifying large areas quickly, while the small ones are good for small enclosed spaces like closets, laundry rooms, bathrooms, etc. Depending on your use case, I found that for a medium sized room the small semiconductor dehumidifiers are too small and underpowered while the larger compressor-style dehumidifiers are too large and make too much noise. Surprisingly, this Aeocky unit is the only dehumidifier I could find that sits in that middle range. It pulls significantly more moisture from the air when compared to the small semiconductor-style dehumidifiers, while only being slightly larger in size and being slightly more noisy. This is great for those medium sized rooms that need more dehumidification than the smaller units can provide, without having to go with the bigger compressor-style machines that would be overkill, not to mention really loud. This Aeocky unit would keep your small enclosed spaces extremely dry, the medium sized rooms such as bedroom adequately dry, while being underpowered for large open spaces. In short, this is a great size unit for medium spaces, and one of the only options I’ve found for this use case. My only complaint is that I would prefer a flat plug, as the straight plug makes it hard to plug in and fit into those outlets behind furniture. ... show more

It's pretty quiet. Produces a little heat. The descicant smells kinda funny the first time you use it. Works really well and is super small. Also because it's not a refrigerant dehumidifier you won't have to pay when you take it to the dump in 20years. My only complaint is that it doesn't immediately turn on when you plug it in. It would be nice to run it on a 24hr timer or with a humidity switch. ... show more

Seemed to work well at the start, is very quiet. But into the second week of use, it just quit working. It would run but not collect any water. I ran through the troubleshooting in the manual, but nothing either applied or fixed the issue. I am returning to get my money back, will try to research a better brand in the future. ... show more

I purchased this dehumidifier on October 08, 2024. It was a very good price, and it was easy to set up. It is not too loud, but if you put it in your bedroom, it may be too noisy to sleep with. But it started leaking through the bottom in less than two months and stopped working. The fan runs fine but stopped working effectively. Emailed customer service, they asked me to look at a few things like fan function and shake up to defrost coils. Could not get it to work. the device has a three-year warranty. Customer service is sending me a new one and asked that I dispose of the old broken device as I see fit. ... show more

We're using it in our 30 foot 5th wheel camper. It really helps during the cold, damp weather. Clears most of the moisture off the inside of the windows. I get about 4 pints of water in 12 hours. It does put out some heat but that's not a problem since we use it during the cold weather. Noise level is not too bad, night mode is nearly silent if you want it in a bedroom. Handle makes it easy to move. It had a smell for the first couple days, but that's gone. ... show more
