The Hard Top Gazebo's polycarbonate double layer mesh screen is one of its best features. Insects and bugs are also effectively kept out by the mesh screen, making it the ideal location for outdoor parties free from intruders. The size of this gazebo is another thing I like about it. First off, whoever designed this thing is a damned genius. Everything was so perfectly put together, and the attention to design detail is amazing. The instructions have a QR code that takes you to a video of someone putting it together in THE LARGEST ROOM EVER, but it was great to give me an idea of what I was getting into. They say it requires two people, but won't a bit of ingenuity I was able to construct it myself, and it only took the length of Billy Joel's entire studio discography (about 8.5 hours or so). I have no idea how it will hold up to PA weather yet, but it seems to be very solid. Literally the ONLY problem I had the entire time was ONE hole not being drilled properly for one of the supports. I used a screwdriver to break off a metal bur, then my drill pushed that screw home without problem. Highly recommend just off construction alone. If I remember I'll update in a couple months with how it's holding up.

My husband put this together in about 6 hours by himself and I helped him with the roofing panels, which took about another hour in the dark outside. So, assembly was not bad. It is all Allen wrench, so if you have a drill, I'd buy the Allen wrench bits to ensure everything's tight or you're gonna have lots of hand blisters! It is very sturdy, but more lightweight than what I was expecting, especially for the roofing panels. They are dark, but translucent so sun does come through those. The curtains are nice and fit well when closed. We haven't had any bad weather since it's been up, but I would definitely recommend staking it down. Not too sure if it'll last long enough to justify pouring concrete over the base of the legs. It is definitely decent quality, especially for the size and price, but if you want a long term (like 5-10+ yrs) gazebo structure, this might not be it.

The gazebo is awesome. I really like it. Assembly was straightforward. It took my husband about five of his spare time after work by himself to put it together with the help of the provided instructions. It has truly transformed our outdoor space. It providing 120 square feet of space. It's perfect for our family gatherings, BBQs, kids activities and even just relaxing outdoors. It is very strong and durable. We recently had a windy day, and the gazebo held up perfectly thanks to the four grounding piles and expansion screws that provide extra stability. The design of the netting is very practical, offering great ventilation and keeping bugs out. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It creating a lovely space for relaxation and entertainment. I highly recommend it.

My husband assembled this alone so maybe that’s why it was hard. It took him a few 6 hour days. And then he and I put on the curtains, which should have been easy but they were zippered together and not right. Some of the screw holes are almost impossible to get to and the order of how to do things is horrible. Looks beautiful now that it’s up. Perfect fit on our deck we enlarged for it. Seems pretty sturdy and keeps the sun out and off my new furniture. Leaks a few places because the screws need to be tightened.
