If there was the ability to give a zero star rating, I would do so. The pergola was up less than a month when a rain storm came through. Yes, it was a heavy rain but with that said, there was no heavy wind or heavy storm conditions . The awning tore, the Velcro fastener for the awning shade ripped, and the awning blew off. I contacted Amazon immediately and because we were out of the 30 day return window, they could not help. I was given contact information for Garvee and because we purchased it through Amazon, they stated they have no responsibility to help us. Please spend the extra money and purchase your product either through Home Depot or Lowe’s. We learned the hard way.

The fabric on the posts ripped within 1 month. I stitched it back together with nylon threading and lasted another 5 months. It is now torn in multiple areas, which cannot be repaired, and needs to be fully replaced :(

Think twice before buying. Although the product itself is fine and it suits the purpose for which it was bought, this company does not offer replacement covers. If this is not a big deal for you then it’s fine. I wanted to order a spare cover and found out the hard way that they don’t have them. Really bummed!

I like the way it looks but it’s really inconvenient that there is no way to weigh the canopy down and it’s not attached at all on the top. So it blows in the wind like crazy and makes a lot of noise. It also catches/pools a lot of rain since the canopy is lose at the top and it’s not taut. So I had to buy an eyelet maker to make holes to put strings in it and weigh it down with outdoor weights. Aside from that I like that it has adjustable length on each side and is sturdy.

Fabric is rather thin but will probably last for at least a year or maybe two if you’re lucky & The frame is of mediocre quality. The top adjustability is a nice feature and it was fairly easy to assemble.

Terrible design, the top tears easy in the wind, and it fills up with rainwater EVER TIME it rains, and the straps have toren off. I wrote the seller and all they said it must not be installed correctly. That is untrue, we followed the directions twice. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

It came a little dented and the assembly instructions were wrong lol but otherwise not hard to put together overall. I was able to do it by myself in 3 hours. Seems sturdy enough and looks good for the price.
