Got these for a house that my Mom and I are remodeling. Wanted to upgrade the lighting in the kitchen. Before, there was only a pitiful chandelier in the middle of the room, and a single bulb above the sink. Adding several of the lights on a dimmer will make the kitchen much more usable. The different light temperature settings allow them to be adjusted for everyone's personal taste. I set them to be bright white since I am getting older and need the brightness to read recipes and such. I especially like how, since they are very shallow, and held in by strong springs, they can be placed anywhere in the ceiling. Even where there is a roof truss. Good product.

Installation was straightforward , and the light output is perfect for the space. I haven't had the chance to test it with a dimmer yet, but so far, it's meeting my expectations. The slim design fits perfectly, and the overall quality seems solid. This light has definitely brightened up my closet, making it much more functional. Opps I left some painter tape on the ceiling. Highly recommend using a painter tape and recycling bag when cutting hole.
