I was receiving a queen mattress and wanted to get a solid frame to not only hold my weight, but the weight of the mattress which was very big. This was easy to put together and the quality and sturdiness of it is perfect. The 18 inch is tall, so keep this in mind if you are shirt or tall. This queen-size bed frame was very easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It truly doesn't need box springs. The mattress can go straight onto the frame.The cons are: the bed frame, having plastic feet, can be difficult to move. And there are no metal tabs to keep the mattress (and box springs) in place.
