Buying beds online is nerve wracking because no matter how much research you do, or how many reviews you read, you just never know for sure until you sleep on it. I bought two supposedly "firm" Dreamcloud mattresses, one for over a thousand, and another one for $700, and had to return them both. Luckily, they have a good return policy. So then I went to two mattress stores and they were seriously over-priced. A truly firm mattress is not easy to find, and definitely not cheap. But this one is firm, and it is affordable. I'm glad I took a chance and ordered this one. It really is firm and comfortable and well-made. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the edge support isn't great -- if you're like me and you sit on the edge of your bed to put on your socks in the morning, you will dip forward. ... show more

The increase in comfort has lead to great rest! The bed is firm and soft at the same time. It is easy to open, easy to move & I love the fact that you don’t need a box spring. I was comparing lots of Choices and settled on this one.. glad I did! It is amazing!!

This mattress is exactly what it is described as. Wow, what a bargain. I was skeptical because of its low price, but it is amazingly firm yet comfortable. I am experiencing a good night's sleep now. I dont want to get out of bed in the morning, not because I'm tired, but because I am so comfy.

I bought this mattress for my spare bedroom. It's perfect for that purpose. Guests have said that it's comfortable — I have no complaints! There was a slight off-gassing smell when I first unboxed the mattress, but it didn't last long. (I've had worse!) The mattress unfolded easily and fluffed up quickly. Although I haven't spent a night on the mattress myself, I did lie on it to see how comfortable it was. I can tell that I wouldn't want to use it as my regular mattress. I can feel the "bones" of the mattress — the springs and frame — when I lie on it. It's only slight, but I think with regular use, particularly by a heavier adult, the mattress wouldn't hold up for long before these "bones" started making it uncomfortable to sleep on.
